REWATCHING RR Aug 15, 2022
Time for the RR one lol

Episode 1 I watched a decent amount of time ago, it was an OK premire but again premires have pretty much sucked or have been mediocre since Season 1 ended. Episode 2 was actually pretty hilarious, and episode 3 was decent but a bit too tennis-rivals focused I guess lulz, though it was great otherwise. I also in general think with this very large cast and quick pacing some teams barely gets noticed in the first episodes and the lack of interactions between teams isn't great obvs, but I do like the interactions between the teammates themselves.
Update (Episodes 4-5): The Ice Dancers are still pretty cool. McArthur continues to be the funniest thing. The Goths gets more lines, which is pretty great. I actually... like the Father/Son more this time, I never really cared about them but Dwayne is decently witty I guess? lol. Emma is kinda annoying but I guess that's the point lulz, Kitty is kinda cute. It's stil just 2 episodes so I don't have MUCH to say about the rest, but we'll see. The Stepbros still suck. As for the episodes, I feel like both were pretty funny... especially 5 though again I don't think there was a clear standout so far.
Update: (Episode 6-11): Brazil episode was fine, though felt bad for the Vegans haha, the Ice Dancers continues to shine in all episodes though. The Transelvenya episode had a great challenge, interactions, humor, location, everything. Wasn't huge fan of Hawaiian/Dubai overall, but the Mom/Daughter were show-stealers and decent, man I definitely think it was Stephanie's worst showings in a way, I remember liking her overall but those episodes I was really mixed on her (she did have some fun moments prior and after those 2 episodes), New Beijinging was like, fine, but the Rocknrule episode was great, the goths really shined <333 Also, Nemma is just sort of weird lol, from Noah's side it's a total cringe for sure, from Emma's it's fine and I love Owen/Kitty for supporting it but man Noah is just so weird and sometimes such a selfish bitch to Owen. The Daters were pretty hilarious once they turned into the haters, especially Ryan! Their silent treatment is pretty great. The Stepbros didn't annoy me as much nor did I liked them really.
Update: 12-14: All 3 episodes were excellent. Ice Dancers absolutely shined through all of these, 12 featured the Daters being hilarious as hell, 13 had amazing rivalry moments between the Cadets an Ice Dancers (also why they didn't let them keep their amazing black uniforms? ugh) 14 had Rockers being funny and bunch of great stuff.
Update: 15-18: The Daters fucking ruled these episodes, Lord of the Ring Toss was hilarious actually! And I liked Father/Son in their boot episode, Noah's boot episode was eh, and he was pretty lame in this season.
Favorite teams:
Update: 19-23 -- 19 was fine-ish though i was pretty tired while watching it, but then 20, 21, 22, and 23 were all pretty great, so yeah.

Ice Dancers are obviously pretty funny. The Cadets (especially McArthur) are obviously hilarious.

As of right now, my favorite teams are The Cadets and the Ice Dancers, other great teams are the Goths, the Haters, I would include Father/Son they're just not really my type of characters, there's a limit to how much a young kid in this silly show could be engaging imo. Devin... acutally doesn't do much in the first half of the season, but I'm looking forward to see his broken-heart/angry side, Carrie was the more relateble one. Kitty/Emma are decent, but kind of out focus lately. Surfers/Owen are fine, but man Noah is just so weird lmao what the writers did with him in this season.

OUTDATED ALERT:
Decent teams:

Sisters, Best Friends, Goths, Vegans (cute), surprisingly the Adversity Twins , Tom/Jen,

OK Teams:
Father and Son (tho they're improving), Rockers, Nowen (Noah has some funny moments but man Owen almost felt like a parody in episode 3 lol), Mom/Daughter, Surfers (cute but Geoff reverting to his TDI self feels weird imo, he's even more chill than TDI), Daters

Worst-characters-ever team:

The Stepbrothers -- what the fuck how can anyone can not think they're Z- characters. I just roll my eyes wherever they talk who the hell thinks they're even funny. Like I get people hate Leonard cuz he's too weird and maybe annoying to some, or Mike (duh) cuz he ruined the show or obviously his friends Zoey/Cameron since they do suck sometimes. But those two are probably the most unfunny characters ever in this show. Right now they're in the right direction... of beating Mike as my least favorite characters.

So in general mostly everybody are fine and I'm sure some will improve <3
OUTDATED ALERT:
ELIMINATED:
Pairs might be ranked together or individually, obviously it depends since some teams will have one member ranking much higher.
Love/Favorites:

1+2. Ryan/Stephenie -- The Daters/Haters had a great arc overall, they started out pretty one-dimensional, with their constant making out, then we had like one or two episodes where Stephenie was pretty insufferable and very abusive in a kinda unfunny way. But once their "tag" changed into the haters they were pretty much always hilarious, always fun, it was always great seeing Ryan trying to find ways of annoying (or egging) Stephenie while watching her getting annoyed with him, and also learning more of each other alongside the way, pretty fantastic and I could write more but I'm lazy but I'll just say they're really fun characters who added bunch to this spin off.

3+4. Ennu/Crimson -- What's not to love about these two? Their sense of dark humor was fantasic, and everything about them (including Loki) was pretty great, I just wish we gotten more <3

Likeable:
5. Dwayne -- I'm not sure about this, but the guy did have a decent character development, and I do think he had some pretty great jokes, and I don't have anything bad to say about him much (I guess his sexist jokes? tho I get he's from a "differente" time or whatever, I do think he's likable he's just not really my type of character if that makes sense.

6+7. Kelly/Taylor -- Had a fine, geniune, decent 2-episodes arc in their very last 2 episodes. Kelly learning to put her daughter into her place is funny and Taylor learning to appriciate her mom is pretty neat, not to mention Taylor (Despite being a spoiled brat) has some pretty funny lines throughout, I would rank Kelly higher tho.

8. Rock - Rock is one of those characters I didn't really care for before the rewatch and I'm leaving it... still unsure about him, because I don't really think he's bad obviously, but he's not that funny or engaging. He's obviously the one I'm supposed to root for/care for in the Rockers and he fills that job decently well and he has some decent lines, I just feel like he's one of those characters I'm not that meant to care for or maybe I just didn't clicked that much with him, but he is definitely funny sometimes and his frustrations with Spud are pretty hilarious.

9. Spud - lol

10+11. Tom/Jen - Pretty great in their boot episode, loved their hoenst friendship and they were quite funny throughout, just wish we would have seen more.

12+13. Mickey/Jay -- Surprisingly had their funny moments, obviously a little too self-pitying, but that's their character-point I guess, they didn't all TOO much but in general their cowardince and phobias worked out well, I feel like they're Cameron-done-right, in the sense that the show obviously knew those two wouldn't make it so they didn't push the story/narrative in making them the underdog forced heroes who would beat, like, I don't know the Cadets or something in the end lmao. They had the exact right amount of screen time and some funny lines. Even felt bad for them in their boot episode when Mickey got manipulated by Emma.

14. Junior -- Like, his father, but without the awesome humor. He was written fine but how can a kid be that engaging to me as a character lol.

15. Laurie - I appricate her role throughout, and was kinda sad by her elimination, she was pretty tragic all things considered. A vegan who's deticated to do the right thing yet she secretly loves meat? Sad. Obviously doesn't help when her teammate kept reminding her of that lol. Also her outburst <3

16. Owen -- Owen was very out of focus and in the early-season he was pretty much one-note and sort of a mixed bag with his fart jokes. I do appriciate him much more later on when he's being hs regular positive self, he's very likable (obv) and kinda fun.

17. Ellody -- Yeah I'm seperating the geniuses. Mary's like OK but whatever, Ellody's a random super-cute favorite with a Courtney voice <3

18. Miles -- Was generally pretty cute, but she goes down a bit for reminding Laurie of her mistakes lol, kinda annoyed me a bit. Still fine-ish.
OK:
19+20. Leonard/Tammy - Sometimes funny, sometimes a miss. Kinda a pointless returning choice obviously, but whatever. I'm not a Leonard hater anymore but they could have done something more exciting. Neutral
21. Mary -- The lesser Ellody, just isn't as whimsical, cute, or graceful.

MEH:

22+23. Gerry/Pete -- Their jokes are unfunny to me but at least they left early and weren't really annoying.

Bad:

24. Noah - As seen above, Noah was a total dissapointment this season. He started out pretty hilariously (funny in the France episode) but once he fell for Emma he fell down in my ranks big time. He was... pretty much worst than Zoey, he became obsessed with Emma and it was just really tiring and not funny, he was also a total bitch to Owen through most of the season and sometimes it was unpleasent mostly because it was usually Noah's fault for them sucking in challenges and also for their elimination!! Owen deserved better. As for Nemma, well, they were barely relateble at all, I guess this format isn't that great for relationships unless they're partnered up, but it just seems forced and weird. Sorry Noah ;(

25+26: Chet/Lorenzo -- Already all explained above, I guess their last 3 episodes made them bottom 3 characters (above Mike) and not 1/2, because they were semi-sufferable I guess, still can't really get through with them and honestly think those 2 are probably the most unfunny characters in the series, and would have been much better as forgettable early boots rather than stealing the spotlight from characters like Mom/Daughter, Vegans, Fashion Bloggers.

rewatching tdpi again (lol) Oct 9, 2021
Well my last TDPI rewatch was abrupted unfortunately... but I'm rewatching it now to complete my silly rankings:

Anyways, finished the first 5 episodes, the first one still feels so weird and rushed despite being funny sometimes, the second one was a bit better, got to know the peeps. The third one had a great challenge, and I like Samey's revenge, the fourth one also had a fun challenge, and I liked almost all characters in it, the fifth one had some decent interactions I guess.
News: Episode 6 is fun, cuz Sugar was hysterical and Ella is cute. Everyone else were alright, also Scalrett had decent lines.
New2: Episode 7 was freaking hilarious and comedy gold all over around, even Chris was funny. Episode 8 was kinda weird with the Topher plot, but Max/Sugar had their moments -- still an alright episode.
News3: Episode 9 was weird, I enjoyed Sugar and the Skave plot cool, though Dave was weird lol. Shasmine were also kinda cute. Episode 10 is an episode I watched multiple times, and it's still rather fun, but watching the season whole together crazy-Scarlett wasn't built up as I thought she was and it was kinda of odd, it will still entertaining but WEIRD. Episode 11 allowed for some funny interactions, Sugar is still the star, lame elimination.
LastNewz: Episode 12 had Sugar's fun downfall, and 13 is not as bad as I remember'd, pretty decent finale but I hate the lack of eliminated contestants, and I hate how mean spirited the show is by treating Dave like that.
Good season, but kind of a blur lol. It's so weir and disconnected and a total diffrente show.

RANKS:
Neutral/Don't care:

14th. Rodney - EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I don't dislike or hate anybody from this season but Rodney's close. His gag is tiring and unfunny thank god he lasts four episodes. bye

13th. Beardo - who cares lol who is he

12th. Topher:
I guess he has some funny lines, I just don't think he does much for me. Everytime I rewatch the seasons Topher comes off unmemorable to me idk why. I'm just neutral towards him though the story with Chris is EHHH. His storyline still ends on a meh-note. He's just sort of pointless, though sometimes funny!

11th. Leonard --  I actually don't hate him anymore. He has some funny lines, still sometimes annoying, but I'm most netural/tilt like. He's OK.

10th. Shawn - Honestly he is exhausting. He is always talking about zombies, or Jasmine, or both. It's just very very tiring. I enjoy his relationship with Jasmine though and think it's the best relationship probably post-tdwt barring aleheather i guess give or take. he's a likable guy but... the writers try to force him into being an unrealistic gag character but also a main complex character and it just meshed in a weird way. I don't hate him at all but I feel like he's kinda pointless outside of Shasmine. Really wish he would have been booted eariler. One time I do like him I guess and that's he relatble/realistic is when he doesn't want to give Jasmine money on her terrible idea for a flower shop lol <3

9th. Amy - Like Samey also flat but much funnier haha. She's unique in being the most mean contestant ever, but without any of the complexity the other mean people have. So she's flat in result but also unique, good antagonist to Samey I guess, and could have funny lines I guess, but overall there isn't that much to her. To be fair, I assume that even without Samey she could be funny.

8th. Samey - I feel like I will always love her revenge against Amy, even if it's less exciting the 100th time it's watched, but man without Amy she's just kinda... flat? Like there's a lot of complexity there could have been if they would have gone deep and delved into her insecurities, or struggles, her lack of social skills... but they never do. She's treated like crap by everybody, and gets eliminated afterwards. Good on her for standing up against her sister! I feel like her Amy are hilariously interchangable in this ranking, Samey had a better story obvs but Amy is more entertaining and actually very funny.

7th. Scarlett:
Scarlett hasn't done much of anything in the first 5 episodes, in the next 4, she actually grows the villainious nature we see, she has some funny/humourous lines, and in the her explosion episode she's rather fun but probably not nearly as I thought. Still a good explosive episode for her but kind of weird. I like her but not nearly the same extent I thought.

6th. Dave:
Like Jasmine/Sky, it's fun seeing another normal character with this mess of a cast, Dave is enjoyable and relateblae, obviously a bit clingy but he's dynamic and a decent character. He was kind of a simp in his boot episode, but I still do enjoy interactions with Sky, even if hes' a weirdo <3 He's defintely a little dweeb, especially in the finals, but it's done in lulzy ways and I do understand him. Skave as a story is underrated.

5th. Jasmine:
I like her a lot, like Sky, she's also a normal one in the bunch of freaks. But she's also very charismatic and strong, not exceptional but I like her.
UPDATE: Watched up until her elimination and she's still good, there's nothing exceptional about her but she's a solid female hero-ic character, likeable and endearing. I enjoy Shasmine but overall Jasmine herself is mostly a likable character who's strong but not as funny as Leshawna or well-developed as TDI Gwen. Still I appriciate her role in this season of freaks.

4th. Sky - I like her. I don't think she's amazing or anything, but it's cool what she's about. I enjoy her being the normal one in the sea of freaks, she isn't excellent or funny per say but not all characters need to. It's fun just seeing a likable normal girl for a protagonist. Skave a story is also pretty underrated and I enjoyed her as the protagonist for this season, I like heroic characters making mistakes so good on her lol.

3rd. Ella:
She's just precious <3 Obviously not funny as Sugar or Max, or can ever be relateable as Sky or Jasmine or Dave, but she is lovely. Just a warm fuzzy presence <3 Felt bad for her elimination, wish we had a seen a little more.

2nd. Max:
lmao! Max is just lmao, but I want to say his digs against Samey so far are fucking exceptional. UPDATE: Max brings out he humor in almost every scene he's in, he's very hilarious.

1st. Sugar:
She's still hilarious. Honestly I think it's the first time I really get the Ella/Sugar conflict, it was always funny, but now I truly see Sugar as this young pegant girl pushed by her mother to succeed and she Ella as this "goody-tooshoes" contestant who usually beats herin those contests alol, which makes for some fun digs. I love her as this weirdo antagonist for this weirdo season, she has the best liens and digs against other people, I enjoyed her rivalry with Sky, and her aggressiveness <3 Best character this season easily :D

rewatching tdpi May 19, 2018
Time to rewatch the final season before entering RR :)

Pakhitew Island!!

The premiere was funny to be fair, but nothing amazing and had a lot of random stuff happening and not feeling like a premiere ... just people meeting each other all of a sudden and competing, that's it. Masqwak (i hate these team names) were fun. Liked all of them except for Shawn and Beardo. Leonard was a touch annoying I guess but not all bad really. the other team was less entertaining, though Amy was hilarious and was probably the funniest character this episode, Max was funny, and Jasmine was cool. Rodney was ehhhhh and Scarlett didn't do anything and Topher was ehhh and Samey was ok.
Episode 2 was good mostly, again really enjoyed Masqwak (bar Shawn)... not super strong but still kinda fun. Rodney sucks doe. The twins episode is less good on it's... whatever'100th time I watched it, but I enjoyed Amy's karma nontheless, Samey outsmarting her is definitly one of the biggest highlights ever, haha. Episode 4 was awesome actually, many laughs from the likes of Sugar, Dave, and even the awful treatment of Samey is funny in some weird way. Shawn sucks doe and gets way too much screen time. tophers slightly better? still boring. Episode 5 was fun stuff but man Shawn's zombie shtick is worse and worse every time it's rewatched, lol. The twins were an overrated story yet still decent characters, Skave are alrighty, Ella is adorbs and Sugar iz the bomb. Max was decent. Episode 6 was rewatched to death obviously, but still a very decent one where Scarlett really grown in her villainious status. Ella/Sugar were awesome, and mostly everybody were alright.
Rankings:
*Love:
Ella - Such a lovable princess <3 Can't really sad anything bad about. Just wished we a little more yknow?
Like:
*Amy - Actually has bunch of great lines but completely shallow as a character and the entire backstory-idea rather annoys me, and she herself never truly gets the karma she deserves, but still is kinda hilarious.
*Samey - Don't know which one to put above the other but Amy was funnier I guess so whatever. Both relie on each other to succeed but Amy's one who was funnier even with other people. Samey's highlight was basically screwing Amy out of the game and that's it. Still a top tier TD moment though. I'll give her that. might rank above Amy after furth evaluation.

Neutral/Tilt Like:
*Leonard - Gets funnier on rewatches but I'm still not huge fan. He has bunch of great lines though. "TIME REVEARSEL SPELL!!!!" alol.

Neutral/Dislike:
*Beardo - Such a forgettable boot.
*Rodney - Still rather annoying even if he made for some laughs in his boot episode. Just a dissapointing character overall and aggrviating.

MVP:
Amy, Masqwak (bar Shawn), Samey, Ella/Sugar, Ella/Sugar/Jasmine, Ella/Sugar.

Rankings so far:
1. Sugar
2. Dave
3. Max
4. Jasmine
5. Sky
6. Scarlett
7. Topher
8. Shawn

rewatching tdas Apr 20, 2018
After such hiatus, I watched the first episode. It got some fun laughs but also had some eye-rolling galore. Lightning, Jo, and Heather were all rather enjoyable, same goes for Sierra/Courtney I guess. Gwen was irrational as hell, pushing Duncan off the cliff and not remembering she's a cheater. Zoey/Mike/Cameron were disgusting as hell, everyone else were ok. Second episode was also really funny as i remember it, Lightning was excellent, Al was devious, Heather was funny, other villains were good, even Gwen, Hamsters casually were terrible except for the likes of Sierra and Courtney.
Episode 3 was actually pretty great, enjoyed bunch of jokes and except for Mike, nobody really sucked. Episode 4 was a'ight but really weak comparing to the previous two. Episode 5 featured Cam/Zoey at some of their most annoying moments, and also Duncan/Gwen at their basic-worst... Heather/Scott were fun and I didn't mind most of the challenge but it was pretty mediocre episode. Episode 6 featured Al/Heather at their center-star-point, which was really fun, Episode 7 was also fun but had many eye rolling moments.
Episode 8 felt like the entire season, eye-rolling galore (Especially Zoey/Mike/Gwentney) but the others were mostly fine, it also had a decent finish for Duncan's four seasons arc I guess. This season was pretty fine on him. Episode 9 (aka 100th episode) was ... OK but underwhelming, :P nothing to brag about but nothing too much to dislike. Episode 10 was lke, fine, I guess, but it displays the worst problems of this seasons's finalists, Mike/Mal is a lame antagonist that needs everybody else being dumb to his success (yes, even Alejandro), and Zoey is just braindead and in return is very unlikable. SMS had Courtney at her best this season (thank god because she was getting annoying with this Gwen-BFF thing) but Zoey was annoying as usual and everybody else were meh i guess. Ep. 12 was like one of the worst ever, nothing really happened besides a lame challenge and such bullshit elimination. Episode 13 was a firey-trash episode lol, but that was already a well-known fact because we had lame finalists and lame story and kind of a lame season, OWEN THOUGH <3

..... TERRIBLE CAST :<

Lamest:
14. Mike - Self-explantory. Why bring a character who doesn't even have a character besides a poor lame gimmick that's not even funny? The worst thing about Mike is not even that he's bland, it's that he's considered a "protagonist" where he didn't do anything this season besides self-destructive actions. Also Mal is annoying and a silly antagonist.

Dislike:
13. Zoey - You know I really wanted to like Zoey. I really did. I loved her tarot cards references, but Mike just really dragged her down for me. It was also her naive-actions (like, way naive actions), that were really annoying. Like... trusting Mal all the time and being generally god player/writer's pet.
12. Cameron - Mostly didn't do anything besides being ugly fly. He really got on my nervs post-Moon Madness though because he overstayed his welcome. He was absolutely annoying in his elimination episode with trusting Mike all the time it was just UGH.

Gwen:
11. Gwen - Yeah honestly I didn't know if to put her in Dislike or Neutral so I made her own category. Anywhoosers girl could have been reaaaaaaaally annoying like either super moody or too teamworky or... liking pixies and dreaming about unicorns which honestly came her interaction with Courntey which was lame... but there were episodes she was OK but it never comes close to her old tdi-gwen ways. ah. :(
PS SHE TREATED DUNCAN LIKE SHIT!!!
Neutral:
10. Sam - who cares really
9. Lindsay - same

Like:
8. Jo - sweatpants
7. Lightning - funny in his boot ep., but w/e
6. Scott - Hated Scourtney, but he was a funny accesory side-character I guess. Definitely overstayed his welcome though. I guess he's sort of an average character with trash-roti/semi-good tdas incarnation :P

Love:
5. Sierra - Barely even a character this season but still really funny but I kinda wished they would give her more of a chance, honestly.
4. Duncan - Definitely a mixed bag sometimes but he had a generally good story, I liked him with Gwen until he became an ass/she was a moody bitch but w/e. Doey was pretty cool with him and he was generally pretty entertaining, though nothing special honestly.
3. Courtney - Had a generally strong start until she made right things with Gwen, ever since then she was TOO MUCH GIDDY and that was unacceptable... until she became a hell-sent demon again in SMS which was GLORIOUS but still horrible that she lost everything. :( Still, she went down in flames.
1/2. AleHeather - Both were consistently entertaning in their own way until their elimination. I wouldn't rank either #1 because Heather definitely wasn't perfect (Especially in her boot episode which made her a bit silly) and Alejandro was mostly beige, but was the most rootable giving the circumstances. Neither was spactuclar like the #1's in any other season... (Heather, Courtney/Harold, Heather/Sierra, Jo, Sugar) but... what can you do.

MVP's:
Jo, Lightning, Heather (though Court-Court was really fun too), Duncan, Heather, Alejandro/Heather, Alejandro, Duncan, Chef, Alejandro, Courtney <3, no one lol, anybody besides Cameron/Zoey/Mike/Chris, but honestly who cares.

Finished the first 5 eps, the season is kinda weird and I'm not huge fan mostly because it tries to be so humor-heavy and lacks some direction... for now. Egyptan Part 2 was good, and so was Broadaway, Yukon was decent, Japan was alright, the premiere was fine...? The Aftermath was sweet. :)
UPDATE: Slap Slap was amazing, the Amazon episode was pretty great, the Paris one was good mostly due to Sierra, Newfoundland was... alright. Jamica was DECNET+.
UPDATE II: The Second Aftermath + London were pretty solid minus episode I guess. Greece's Pieces was pure gold, and the Ex-Files was also really really good <3 Picnic at Hanging Dork was pretty solid, but not as hilarious as I remember it. might rewatch it doe. Sweden Sour was really great :)) Aftermayhem was decent, but a weaker aftermath than the last two.
Fourth Update: Niagra episode was pretty great, got decent laughs. China was excellent, had many laughs and pretty dramatic. :D Africa was nothing to brag but it was also not as bad as I though. Rapa and Drumheller were really great episodes each. Hawaiian Style was a fun aftermath, and the last two episodes were excellent, especially the Planes, Trains, thingy, it was perfect. The finale was hilarious and dramatic but sadly it the ending was a bit too much.

MVP's:
Ezekiel/Tyler, Sierra/Izzy, Alejandro, Heather, Heather/Sierra, Blaineley/Geoff, Sierra, Sierra/Heather, Sierra, Alejandro/Heather, Owen, Geoff, Owen/Noah/Courtney/Gwen, Everybody (most notably, COURTNEY), Courtney/Tyler/Alejandro, Courtney/Aleajdnro, Owen (though everybody sans Cody were great), Geoff, Sierra, Al/Duncan/Blaineley/Heather, Sierra (though Al/Heather were pretty good.), All F4 , All F4, Courtney/Harold, All F4 (particulary Heather), Heather.

OVERALL:
Dislike:

18. Ezekiel - He was above DJ through most of the season but after destroying Heather's millions dollars I was like *no*
17. DJ - Yeah sadly I barely care for him anymore because he had a really annoying plot that lasted way too much time only for him to get eliminated in a super cheesy way, and I don't like talking about it.

Neutral:
16. Lindsay - She had some funny moments but just as many as her un-funny moments and I stopped being interested at her at some point.
15. Izzy - ? ? ?
14. Bridgette - She was decent at the aftermaths, but really didn't do anything noteworthy in the contest itself, other than kissing Alejandro.
13. Leshawna - Mostly remained the same and had some fun moments but nothing particulary good.
12. Cody - Would have been way lower if it weren't for the last few episodes where he kind of shined, otherwise a complete non-entity in the season.

Like:
11. Harold - Was kind of a a mixed bag throughout the contest, but hilarious in the aftermaths. BABY! is great <333 his admiration for Cody <333
10. Gwen - Was mostly in the background but I actually enjoyed her friendship with Courtney this season, sadly I just kind lost hope for her when she started being a bitch to her without really apologyzing.
9. Noah - Had few lines each ep., nothing to write home about but he was good this season, also Nowen :)
8. Tyler - Like Noah, I don't get why the fans are losing it with these two but he did fine this season for sure, don't love Lyler at all but they were cute at times, and Tyler got few chuckles out of me.
7. Blaineley - She was DEFINITELY an amazing catalyst for drama in her short time, and she was hilarious in China with her alliance-offers, and also her elimination rant. Sadly it didn't lasted two long but she'll be missed! :( BRING BACK BLAINELEY!

Love:
6. Duncan - Much improvment from last season, haha, he was hilarious and great drama-maker, and I enjoyed his role in the Love Triangle, and while he was an ass to Courtney, I truly think Duncan is the biggest reason TDWT is a remained legacy till this day, before him the season was too comedy-heavy and he definitely spiced it up.
5. Owen - Owen was freakin' adorobale this season <3 His fear of flying and his friendship with Noah were all good, but I actually think he got much better as soon as Noah voted out, being a lone man on his team was a great role for him we never saw Owen as, and his interactions with Duncan, Alejandro, and Blaineley were fantastic.
4. Alejandro - Al's an interesting case. On the one hand, the guy was THE perfect strategist of TD, on the other hand, he was a bit too much of a villain-stu. I enjoyed his interactions with Heather obv, and with several other characters such as Duncan, Courtney, and Owen. It's hard to pinpoint what exactly I liked about him, but it was mostly his strategy and arch-villain status and sneaky persona, y'know?  Also whenever we saw of his vulnerable side was pretty great. He was a solid character, just lacked some more human-traits to like him. I think he really improved later on in the series but for this season Ill just say he was a good villain with great interactions, but nothing too funny or unique about him.
3. Courtney - MY GIRL COURT <3 Anywhoosers Courtney got ignored by the the writers for a good first half of the season where she mostly just a giddy girl who gets along with Gwen and is definitely not on par with her TDI/TDA-selves. Luckily Duncan cheated on her which in return give us the craziest Courtney we have ever seen and some of the great Courtney-moments/lines ever produced ("YOU DON'T GET TO CHEER!!!", "I HATE YOU!!!!!!!"), lmao. Courtney, in the love triangle saga goes sooooo mental in such a realistic and rootable way that it's hard not to love her, I totally was on her side and thought she was hilarious this entire plot through. Sadly once the merge hit she was mostly just into Al which was still hilarious because it let her conflict with Heather (lol) but then she also got eliminated. Oh well, she would have been in the Favorites-section had she wasn't so minor in the first half of the season. :P What a legacy.

Favorites:
2. Sierra - Sierra remained a consistent #1 through most of the season right up until Heather snatched it away. I don't have much to say other than that Sierra is freakin' hilarious, while yeah she can be a bit too much at times, her love and admiration for Cody and her willing to do ANYTHING for him is so freakin' hilarious to watch. Her few rage outbursts are great but I think one huge bonus for Sierra's character is her voice, her voice is just really excellent. Everything from her friendship/conflict with Heather, her hate for Gwen and anybody who dares doing wrong to Cody... she's just really great. I also like how she accepts that she and Cody are "more than just friends" at the end. Also her blowing up the plane and suddenly hating Chris near the end <3
1. Heather - Was #2 for the first 24 episodes but the last two eps sealed the deal <333333. Anyways I don't know what to say about Heather this season other than that she was just a really rootable force and still remains this way in every re-watch. She gains character develeopment this time around obviously and it's very fun to watch. Her being the most hated person on the team to sneaking under the radar to her relationship with Alejandro to finally defeating him and becoming the hero of the season... while still remaining mostly intact and having the "Mean Girl" attitude. I don't think she was as great as TDI or maybe even funny as TDA but it was definitely her most rootable season and satisfying.

rewatching tda Nov 20, 2017
Alien/Aftermath I/MasterofDisasters/Oceans/Super HERO-LD/PrincessPride/GetAClue/ were great, Chefsnack/Riot/Sandwich/One Flu/FullMetalDrama/3:10/OneMillion/ROCKNRULE/AftermathIII/SpaceOwen/Mutiny were solid, and MonsterCash/BeachBlanket/AftermathII/TopDog were ranging from solid to fine but something felt off about those episodes imo (may gonna give them second watch later). Crouching Courtney, Hidden Owen was... weak, honestly. The finale was also one of the weaker ones.

MILLION DOLLAR BABIES WAS PERF <333333 DIAL M FOR A MERGER TOO <333
The Special is kinda weird in it's firs half but the last 20 mins were pure gold. Sierra/Izzy/Duncney were obvious stars, but mostly everybody were pretty great.

TDA Explainations:
15th. Owen - Yeah... what a flop from last season, lol. Owen 2.0 bugs me a lot mostly because it's the weaker side of his humor (aka the fatness and the gross-out) from last season portrayed as pretty much 90% of his character and it was honestly pretty annoying. He wasn't full bad but his return was really not necessary and I'm really pissed he's one of the reasons Harold went home. :(
14th. Bridgette - Honestly other than Owen I don't really see anyone bad in this season and while Bridge wasn't bad she wasn't really good either. Just kind of a boring fodder. She was alright in the aftermaths overall, but nothing exactly special.
13th. Beth - Honestly Beth has #15 for most of the season but I enjoyed some of her moments. My main grip with her is that Lindsay did most of what she did better and that for the most part, Beth is largely forgettable or annoying. Once Lindsay left, she actually did came into her own character and was pretty rootable at the end.
12th. DJ - DJ was mostly a wimp in this season but he had a semi-interesting storyline with Chef and he definitely shined in his great boot episode.
11th. Trent - Trent honestly could have been annoying at times, but he also had a pretty hilarious side I didn't see once. His creepiness could have been hit-or-miss, but I enjoyed him as an early boot with a sad story, even I'm totally Team Gwen! Still, he was fine.
10th. Duncan - Like Owen, totally flopped from last season, but less. My grip with Duncan was the fact that we literally had almost 26 episodes with this guy and more of it was just REALLY tiring. He was hit-and-miss, from his humor, interactions, and Duncney, he was mostly a mixed bag but I lean more to liking him due to being a consistent character.
9th. Gwen - IDK what everybody's fuzzing over Gwen but she mostly remained a likable contestant this season, but also showing "Heroes" can make mistakes and do things wrong. Like Trent, I enjoy her sort-of tragic story and depth for an early boot. Go Team Gwen!
8th. Geoff - Was honestly pretty hilarious in the Aftermaths. I enjoyed his twisted form this time and he's really underrated.
7th. Izzy - Lol, she's actually even funnier this time around and her crazy sprouts of randomness was incredible. She also showed more psychopathy than ever in this season, which was the more enjoyable.
6th. Lindsay - Only ranked this high due to her last few episodes, mostly because I really enjoyed the Lindsay/Courtney conflict and Lindsay becoming "smarter" this season, also liked her various bossy moments with her team.
5th. Heather - Obviously pales when you compare her to her tdi-self, but still a great character non-the-less, when she gets the spotlight that is. Enjoyed her hair-obsession, her being the usual-"odd-man-out", and her protecting Leshawna. She also was hilarious at many points and got actual character development.
4th. Leshawna - Was honestly pretty great just as last season but also showed more depth with the spa lie and like Gwen, that heroes can make mistakes and grow from it, enjoyed pretty much everything about her and don't have anything bad to say.
3rd. Justin - LOL <3 Justin, for the first half of the season was basically a "lolrandomvillain" with some great lines in between, but in his last few episodes, he actually managed to get more character development than most of the cast, learning he doesn't only have to use his looks to get ahead in life. incredible.
2nd. Courtney - Her developing into a hell-sent demon who came to terrorize this cast was what this season needed <3 The only reason she ain't #1 is because Duncney could have been a little too much this time, and not enjoyable like last season. Still, she was a great "love-to-hate" antagonist and was hilarious, like, nearly all the time. She was pretty much the main driving factor of the second season, tbh.
1st. Harold - I don't usually rank "heroic" characters first, and would normally rank Courtney one but Harold shined for like 20 episodes while Courtney had way less time, sadly. Harold was hilarious in basically every episode and had many random, hilarious lines, as usual. His interactions with practically everybody were enjoyable and I can't say anything bad about him.
