except I worked in a prodominantly blue state/county in a retail store and the managers would follow black and hispanic people around to make sure they didn't steal and I was actually taken to the back and reprimanded for asking for assistance because a white girl was shoplifting and I was "out of line". racism is alive and well, just because someone isn't shouting the n word doesn't mean it isn't there.
