In three seasons of BBUK, we’ve seen 4 housemates walk from the series. Coincidentally, this only occurs during fresh meat seasons. This all kicked off when Megan ( adamslater19) walked for personal reasons on Season 1. Shortly after, Daphne ( Jameslu) staged a Category 5 meltdown and walked due to literally hating everyone in the house, after Chanelle ( Tinkerbelll) killer nominated her for the week.
Walks didn’t happen again until the second all-rookie cast of Season 4, where we saw David ( daveydod), one of the most active and liked housemates, walk on Day 2 for his mental health.
In Season 7, our most recent walk occurred, when Sea ( SeaViper) walked because of her continuous stints on the block and inability to vibe with housemates (had she not walked, she would’ve survived her poll and finalist, Christian, would have left!). She left during the week that past alums came to the house with the sole mission of making a housemate walk— their mission was shockingly successful.
Two of our walkers returned from their original series to play again, and they both made the finals (Megan did twice!). Daphne even won Season 5, proving that housemates definitely do change.
BB has talked many housemates out of walking from the game (including Chanelle almost every season), and it’s always nice to see housemates stick it out, but these moments always prove to make good TV!
