Thought I'd post my thoughts about the new season that is coming up shortly! Really excited to watch this season even though I feel that a lot of the cast should not be back for a third time so soon after their second time (Parvati, Amanda, Cirie, James) I'm a HUGE fan of Cirie but really have a problem with anyone from Micronesia being back.
Also, this is supposed to be the 10th anniversary season and NO ONE from Borneo! Why? I know that Richard Hatch was on probation and Rudy is way too old now, Colleen isn't interested, but where is Gervase (who was flown out to Samoa but cut last minute, why? I'd rather him back over James) or Susan, or Kelly W?
There are WAY too many seasons that aren't represented in this season, which is understandable to a point, but when you have 3 people from China, 4 from Micronesia, 3 from Tocantins, etc, there really is no need for this. I'd say it should have been kept 2 to a minimum per season.
The seasons that are not represented are:
Borneo - Gervase!
Africa - Lex, Big Tom, Teresa, Kelly G
Thailand
Amazon - Jenna M, Rob C
Vanuatu - Ami, Eliza, Chris, Twila
Guatemala - Rafe, Judd, Jamie, Lydia
Fiji - Yau-Man
Also, WTF with Danielle being back?!
Another complaint I have is that the only person returning from before the first All Stars that wasn't apart of All Stars is Sandra, why? Where are the others, there are so many deserving people from the first six seasons that I'd rather see a second time over people for a third time.
With all this said, I am very excited for this new season. Am rooting for Sandra, Cirie, Boston Rob, Sugar, Stephenie, Courtney, Candice, Jerri and Colby. I wanna root for Rupert but after seeing the videos of them for this season he just annoyed me a lot so hope he leaves early.
If someone is banned they should be automatically removed from all games. It makes the games unfair and not any fun. Honestly I think I'm on the brink of leaving this site because being eliminated over someone who is banned is annoying. I wanna play in the games but I can't because of peoples mindsets of getting the active people out. The end games are always boring because no one is chatting. I recently played in a game where I was eliminated early on for being active. Right after that the people in the game began to complain about it being so quiet and no one being around. What fun is that? Oh so you get a better chance at not being nominated if someone who is banned (or inactive) remains in the game, but then that means you don't have to try all that hard in the challenges and means you can just slide by. Does that mean you honestly earned the placing you got if you only got there cause you took out everyone who was actually trying to play?
Regardless of that, people who are banned should automatically be removed from each game they are in on the next day change of each game. They are allowed to do well but they are no longer allowed to participate on the site. It is a bit stupid in my opinion.
I'm fairly new to this site and have played in a few games and something I've noticed that gets on my nerves is the amount of times that people will vote out active people over people who are inactive, this includes keeping people who are banned.
Now I can understand getting rid of some active people sometimes but when someone who was banned before the first day actually started makes the final four, that's just wrong
