2018 has been the year of Chloe x Halle. This song gets stuck in my head so easily. It works as a movie soundtrack but also as a standalone single. It probably deserved better than 10th place.

I can't believe I gave 12 points to something as white and heterosexual as this song. I surprise myself every day. It might be a controversial winner, but I just really like it. It's incredibly catchy and uplifting, especially the chorus. It gives me slight shades of Belarus 2017, but elevated. It always succeeds at putting me into a better mood when I hear it.

The first time I heard 0:51 - 1:05 was seriously a top five moment of my entire life. I feel like I've ranked this a bit low but it's hard to appreciate it any more after you've already listened to it about 500 times. Regardless, this song is how you win me over.

Hourglass found dead. This is the Alice Chater song that should have contended to clench the victory. It might be repetitive but it's just sexy enough for me to look past that. It has a great hook, and the beat is all-around solid.
