Stars Ethics

Feb 1, 2022 by Olympia
imageCurrent Stars nominee BrianGonzalez has been called out for his #shady behavior as he has ALLEGEDLY been spamming against his opponent kimmal8. Though I think we can all agree this is a bad look, where do we draw the line with spamming?

Is asking your friends in your discord chat to save you spamming? Is spamming your “Nominated for Xth” blog/vlog spamming? Or do you actually have to spam total strangers the link to the pollbox in order to be considered a BAD Stars player? Where do we draw the line with this Tengaged?

Spamming has always referred to directly pming someone (or whatever form of communication privately) to save you in stars with a link to the poll box.

I think spamming the a blog explaining your nomination and why you should be safe is fair game though.

I think hitting up your direct friend group/frat and letting them know you're nominated is fine

Spamming for me is PMing people or commenting on things asking for them to save you. I can see spamming the nommed blog (at least until it gets to the right side “top blogs” section) or asking friends to save you as acceptable behavior IMO.
