Ok so it's week 6 of lockdown for me, i was self-isolating before it was cool.
This means i'm bored in the house, and in the house bored. So, i figured i'd pop back on here, see who's still around from the OG days and meet some new faces. I also wanted to update on what's been going on the past two years. Also, I glowed up. New blog pic say whaaaaaaaat? #selfiegate (apparently that's a thing?)
So two years ago, I was sexually assaulted and harassed by a coach driver. I reported him of course, but it knocked me and my confidence greatly. Few months later, I also find out that I'm a victim of voyeurism. I won't go into the details but that pretty much did me in mentally and my mental health was at the lowest it's ever been. I completely spiraled from there. I would avoid social situations and even just going to work every day was a struggle. I lost friends and as I didn't want to open up to them, and I in turn took everything out on them.
Things started to look up, and found myself in a relationship for the first time in 5 years. Genuinely thought he was the one, hahahahahahaahahahah CLOWN. But he ghosted me and completely mugged me off after being together 7months, and dragged it on for a further 5 months until getting our mutual friend (who is also my BEST friend) to end it with me.
But here i am, now the happiest i have ever been. I'm so comfortable in myself and so much more confident. due to this, i can finally speak out and just wanted to say no matter how bad things are, it will always get better.
