One night me and an old school friend, from high school, met for the first time. I had her as a myspace friend. Y'all, we didn't do online meet ups back then and we were young. But anyway we met and we went walking to the graveyard.
"What if there was a secret passageway and a door unlocked, like from a key or something, and went to a secret underground place" was what I said.
My friend, she was like, "YEAH!" and it was cool. Welll.... Years later, our hunches were kind of correct...
2021, the city was excavating for development and lo and behold near that part of town they found an old underground stone/brick layered infrastructure that was used for sewer and sewage. Crazy, huh?! It's on the cities facebook page and it looks like really cool. I wonder what era it was from and if it was a part of prohibition or something???
I live in Canada. There was PROHIBITION here and there's lots of underground tunnels and passageways for various reasons. Moose Jaw tunnels are a popular touristy destination, like yes there's a city called Moose Jaw like Marsha the moose but anyway... AL CAPONE the gangster was purported to have been in these tunnels. Prohibition was when bars were closed/shut down and when liquor had to be consumed by drankerssss on the low low.
