And there you have it. After a long break from the series, I’ve finally returned to crown Bud as the official winner of this season. As per tradition, here’s some trivia about our newest winner.
Bud is the third lion villager to win the game, followed by Mott (Season 6) and Leopold (Season 20). I find this statistic interesting considering there are only 7 lion villagers in Animal Crossing… and only 6 have competed in at least one season. This is ColinCoco’s second time winning a season, with his first coincidentally also being Leopold in Season 20.
Bud is also the fifth jock villager to win the game, following Mott (Season 6), Flip (Season 14), Sprocket (Season 22) and Billy (Season 23). He is also the fourth winner to have won the first HOH competition, following Anabelle (Season 19), Bea (Season 24) and Wolfgang (Season 27).
In summary, Bud will go home with 750,000 Bells. Peggy, the runner-up, will go home with 77,500 Bells (the extra 2,500 was won in a competition). And of course, Raddle and Penelope, as the AFP and the NFP respectively, take home 50,000 Bells each.
Now that this series is back, I am ready to do more seasons. I already have a fun idea in mind for the next. Keep an eye out for that soon.
