Is myrtle beach nice?

I'm trying to book a beach vacation and it seems to have a lot of affordable beach front places to stay.

I had high expectations about the United States, I went to New York and I was shocked by the criminality, it seems like a third world country.

oh monica1623 I think it is nice, really busy in summer, allowed too drink on beach. A nice strip of things to do depending on where you book your spot. Also can take a drive too the boardwalk at the beach which has fun things to do and food and more importantly some good drinks
