The first thing that i ever seriously collected was goosebumps books. I used to have a ton of them and they were just alot of fun to read. I even loved the old TV show, even if it took me a while to warm up to it (to this day i still havn't seen the end of "revenge of the lawn gnomes" seeing that creepy army guy turned into a gnome really creeped me out)
Now that i am older, i realised that these books were really not all that well written (Mostly thanks to the AWESOME bloggers beware website. if you are a fan of goosebumps, you should go even if the author really rips into them)
Anywho, even if there is a new series, horrorland, it will never beat the original, even if i just called it badly written :P
Aw, I hate that people negged this.
And at the time when we had a lot of Goosebumps books around I was too young or too scared to read them, lol. Now we only got a few around the house. I used to love the 'choose your own scare' stories though, and Camp Jellyjam is awesome.
But yeah, I tried reading one recently, and even though I'd never read it before, I was like "this is so hard to get into!"
Camp Jellyjam was one of the few i didn't have. i always found the cover for that one really weird and i remember those give yourself goosebumps books, they were great
