I personally do not agree with Phill. People are entitled to their own opinions, however when their opinion and/or "freedom of speech" targets or calls out an minority group that have been fighting for equal rights for the past 70 years, that's taking it too far. Also, A&E did have the right to suspend him because he signed a contract to follow all of A&E's rules. He stars in a major tv show, obviously everything he says will be talked about and he should know this and take full responsibility and accept any punishments that comes his way. I will not be watching Duck Dynasty anymore due to the ignorance of this family. Imagine if one of his family members turns out to be gay? Imagine how he/she would feel about this and the hard time they will have trying to tell their family.
Well that was my rant for the day!

I'm not shocked someone like him would say it but I don't support it at all.
omg i had a 3 day argument on facebook about this with two other people where at the end of the day we all agreed that all parties has the right to do what they did and that there are consequences for your actions, event though you have a right of freedom of speech you dont have a right for a job. Especially one with a moral clause.
