For those who don’t know, I have had depression for the last 2 years. Its something that domianted me for a while and last year i ended up isolating myself because thats what i thought was going to be the best solution. This only made it worse and I have struggled to be happy for long periods. This year ive gotten back out into public but i have still been depressed. I have really wanted to talk to my friends about it, but i never did cuz I was scared this would change their perception of me. Last night, I watched Matthew Santoro’s video on his depression and it really inspired me to really try and help myself out. I have put my foot down and I am starting to come out to my friends about this. A lot of them are really reacting in postive way and are really starting to help me. I am just really hoping this will finally help to defeat it
