Bucks Fizz-Making your mind up

This band was created for the eurovision and they managed to win with 136 points despite not receiving a huge amount of 12 points. Their performance was considered very bad and many people were sure that without the gimmick of the skirts, they wouldn't have won.
So despite being an unpopular winner, obviously I fell in love at first listen. The song is soo catchy, very funny to watch and it's very easy to dance. I remember listening this for 25-30 minutes

Charlotte Nillsonn-Take me to your heaven

In 1999 Sweden won for the 2nd time in the 90'. Bjorn and Borg from ABBA were the writers of the winning song. This song scored 163 points. Despite winning this song is very disliked, cause many people it's a clichè of many kind of songs and because it's just a copy of Waterloo sung by ABBA.
However first time I listen it I really enjoyed it. It's catchy, amazing and it make you wanna dance, but I am in minority

Helena Paparizou My number one

This is the only song from 2000 to actually make in my list. Helena won with just 230 points the 2005 edition taking the first win for Greece.
The performance was amazing, coreography was ver nice and the dance was so cool to watch.

Paul Harrington and Charlie Mc Gettigan Rock n'Roll Kids

In 1994 Ireland hosted for the second time in a row the show and managed to win with this song. The final score was 227 , the highest amount of points of the history until that moment. They made Ireland winning again for the 3rd time in a row.
I'm not a massive fan of the Irish's entries in general, but this one is really good. Their voices combined are so good to listen and they gave me goosebumps.

Riva-Rock me

This was the first win for Jugoslavia. For the first time in history of eurovision an eastern country managed to take the contest home.
This song is very disliked by the Eurovision fans because they think it's dull, annoying, repetive and definitely not a good piece of art.Rock me has been put on a list of the worst eurovision winners. Personally I love the tune, the performance and the catchiness is very very good. I remember listening to this song for multiple multiple times. Good job Emilia !

Sandra Kim-J'aime j'aime la vie

In 1986 Belgium won for the first time the show. With this result all the 8 countries that had started Eurovision in 1956 won at least once.
The singer is Sandra Kim and she is remembered because she is the youngest winner ever.In fact she was just thirteen at the time but she pretended to be fifteen. In the song she said " J'ai quinze ans ", but then the truth was discovered. Switzerland asked her esclusion ( they came 2nd so they would have won) but they didn't reach the result.
This love makes me so happy and I really like her performance. Her moves were so funny to watch.
