Until this song came. I can't describe how much I love this song. The first time I heard it I cried, then the second time I danced. There is something magic about this song that I can't rationally explain and that is why this song is number 1 on my list.
That was Uk fifth and last win in Eurovision.
Germany finally managed to win Eurovision in 1982. Nicole was just 17 and she performed after all the countries in the race. Her song was so different from the previous one: it was very simple (a girl with a guitar). I love this song cause it givs me shievers in my body. Plus the message is about peace in the world. This song was a really favourite of mine and I thought it would have remained at my number 1.
In 1970 after the 4 winners in 1969 few countries decided to quit the show. So only 12 countries partecipated and in that year Ireland took the crown with Dana. People said it was also a political winner because Ireland was having lot of problems.
First time I listen this song I felt in love with her voice and it's kinda pissed me off that this song is so underrated, but i understand why people don't like it.
