The most underrated television goddess of all time. Mostly everyone i ask say they hate her, and i really just don't understand. I mean i get she is a bitch, but so are fan faves Cristina, Addison, Miranda, etc. Like they're strong women who don't take shit, so the bitchiness is a good trait. When Erica was in season 2 at the end i knew i'd be a fan, but i didn't know she would ever become a main character. When she appeared in season 3, i kinda had an idea we would see some more of her. In season 3 she uttered two of my favorite lines ever, "Preston Burke back from the dead, can't say the same for your patient" & "So how have you been Preston? Last time i saw you you stole my patient's heart, then you got shot. Karma Rocks!" Her and Preston always had a rivalry and she would never tell him how good he was, but she respected him and she knew that he was very good. I loved when he told Cristina she's lucky to study under him and then said "You better not tell him i told you this, eh go ahead, he'll never believe you." Then when she returned for season 4 to replace Preston and became a main character, i was in love even more. She was a bitch to Cristina, yes, and i love me some Cristina, but i think it really helped her. It made her prove herself more and she had to work harder to get what she wanted. Erica and Cristina were very similar with their working styles, and they both knew that, which is why they butted heads. If i couldn't love Erica any more than i already did, she then becomes a lesbian with Callie like oh my god. Callica > Calzona. When they first had sex it was such a sweet moment and Erica cried and her glasses speech was just so beautiful. Unfortunately, that was one of the last moments we had with her. Apparently her character made fans uncomfortable and she was too ugly and too much of a lesbian, i dont even know the whole story, but i know they wrote her character off just after one season of being a main character. They made the Denny story happen again so then she got pissed and Callie disagreed with her and then she told her "you can't kind of me a lesbian" and stormed off in the parking lot forever. Erica was probably the funniest character ever on the show, she had so many great one liners "I generally don't like people" , "I don't make friends easily" and so many more. I need her to return, though, she probably won't since her character wasn't that much of a focus on the show like an Izzie, Cristina, or Addison return. But i just want to know how Erica is doing and i'd love for her to return now during the Callie/Arizona drama. If Erica actually lasted longer on the show she would probably definitely be a top 3 character, like she was only a main character for 1 season and made top 5, i just wish i got to see more of her. This queen needs more credit!
