iybf nice, I wish you the best of luck! I’m studying now and plan to write in June. Hoping for a great score and a great school that follows from it.
That leads me to saying that you need to always be on top of your game in undergraduate, because if you want to go to law school these days then you need to attend a top law school in order to not struggle after getting your JD. back in the day attending law school was a sufficient condition for being well-off. Now, it’s not so easy. The better your GPA and soft factors are, the better your chances are at admission (obviously). But don’t forget that the LSAT is literally the most important factor. It is almost a necessary condition to attending a top law school. In other words, you can have a great LSAT score and a less-than-superb GPA and get into a top law school (this is called a Splitter), but you can’t get in with a lackluster LSAT score and a great GPA (reverse Splitter). There are exceptions, of course, but those are because of other factors involved. Your GPA and LSAT score are what open the doors, and if they’re strong enough, there’ll what get you in.
Hmu if you ever want to discuss shit like this. I’m a peer academic coach!
