The last 5 days have been the best 5 days I've ever spent on Tengaged. Stars affects your life, and if you don't want it to, don't join it. (Unless you are Bo_om, then you just join and do nothing). There are people you are going to hate. You are going to make amazing friendships, and you might lose others. You are going to wake up at times you don't want to wake up, you are going to stay up late doing call after call after call. You are going to have people lie straight to your face, and treat you like shit. But you need to just roll with the punches.
Coming into this game, I was sick irl and it was a vacation week. I spent every minute of every day on stars. I slept, ate, showered, and played stars basically. My goal in joining this game was to experience Stars. And hell, you bet I did. With this cast, there were two main sides, and every day, each side thought their noms would go through. But there was always a flipper, or a splitter, so every day, the nominations were a blindside. I caused a good amount of those myself. What I am most proud of is the nomination of Daniel/Cory for 13th, which was all on me. I won't go too much in detail as I don't want to sell anyone out which is still currently in the game.
Have I accomplished my goal? Absolutely! While I didn't win or make finals, I fully experienced stars: backstabbing someone, causing a blindside, avoiding eviction (until final 8!), making alliances, getting lied too, and of course: getting blindsided, stressing out about being nominated, and getting evicted. But the best part is, I've made tons of new friends, and have gotten even closer with previous friends. I don't have a bad thing to say about anyone in that cast (with a few exceptions however :P), and I couldn't think of a better way to spend my last 5 days.
I joined my first stars on Saturday and I have to say it has been an interesting week. Stars really affects your life: how much sleep you get, what time you get up, and how you interact with people in real life. Is it bad I want to nominate my English teacher against my Spanish teacher in order to get my Spanish teacher out?
But anyway, as soon as the game started, I've been engulfed in drama, blindsides, backstabbing, and lying. And I love every second of it. I am experiencing stars, and I would love for you, Tengaged, to please send me back into it. With this cast, it seems every nomination is a blindside, and I've been responsible for a few.
Unfortunately, this wasn't my day. When I woke up this morning (slept through my alarm so I missed day change unfortunately), I was shocked to find James and I on the block. However, I want to still fight. I have unfinished business in the game, and I want to fight until the bitter end.
