Survivor Cag. Brant - "Why are you here?" (1/2)

May 10, 2017 by Kidcool404
NOTE: Again, I'm super busy and like... this shit is coming out ASAP. Hella sorry. I didn't think I'd be this busy with other things but, they did turn up out of the blue (@ adele)

***At the Luzon Tribe
“Thank you, thank you, thank you.” Micky was following Alex the whole way back into their camp.

“Yeah! Thank you, Alex!” Gangey joined in. “You proved something tonight – I really CAN’T trust you!”

Alex was hurt. She knew that regardless of which side she chose, “What did you want me to do?” Alex yelled.

“They don’t really want you!” Gangey called out Purple and Micky. “Who do you think is going next? Me! Then who? Between Purple, Micky, and you. Do you HONESTLY think one of them will flip on the other?”

“Woah!” Micky interjected. “That’s not true!” Micky looked at Alex. “You know we had this set up from the first time we went to tribal!” Micky looked at Purple for agreement.

“Oh so you HAVE been playing me?” Gangey looked over at Alex. “Well, Micky, Purple. It was great staying here.” Gangey stormed off. “I’m glad this next decision will be easy.”

CONFESSIONAL FROM GANGEY: This is stupid. I don’t know why I gave her a second chance. The first vote, when she wrote MY name down, that should’ve been enough proof that she’s not with me. I did need her to save Riley though so… I tried. This is so frustrating.
Purple walked up to Alex. “We don’t view you like that, you know that.” He rubbed her back.

“Really?” She looked at him. “Because I’m not sure that’s the honest to god truth.” He caught one of the nasty looks she made in the flickering of the fire. “I voted Riley because I thought I was valued, but I know my time is coming. I’m just making this a stronger tribe. I just need to be alone tonight.” Alex walked into the shelter and went to bed.

CONFESSIONAL FROM PURPLE: She’s hurting bad, but she made the right choice – only because I benefited… -he laughed and the camera went up to the moon-

***The following morning at Luzon

CONFESSIONAL FROM ALEX: Morale on this tribe is… low. Extremely low. The only possible way to get me feeling like a human again would be to just win a fucking challenge. Purple and Micky are voting together and then it depends on if Gangey flips on me or if I flip on him, but 2 will tie it so…

Gangey, Micky, and Alex were up poking sticks in the dirt by the fire. “I don’t want… I don’t want my first two votings to decide where I lie in this game.” Purple looked at Gangey. Purple voted against Gangey and then Riley, his ally. “I understand that may be easier said than done, but I’m open to working with whomever.”

“Likewise.” Alex looked up and then went back to playing in the dirt. “I think we should really just focus on winning so we don’t have to worry about another vote.” Alex got up and went to lay down in the shelter. Micky was there but he was still groggy. Purple and Gangey were having a conversation about how they were open to work with whatever suited the tribe best, rather than having “sides” and “alliances.” Alex struck up a conversation with Micky. “Micky?” She called to see he was awake. It was followed by a grunt. “Listen.” He rolled over. “I don’t care WHAT happens… I am with you.”

“Huh?” Micky sat up.

“I’ve voted with you guys both times now and have taken way too much shit for it to burn me. Just know that I’ve voted with you twice, so that should prove something to you.” Alex wasn’t about to go into an elaborate explanation.

CONFESSIONAL FROM ALEX: I’m confused as to why I have to fight for my safety when I’ve proven myself time after time. This tribe is ridiculous.

***At the Solana tribe
Max, Drizella, Dev, and Michelle were washing their clothes in the ocean. Michelle was acting friendly but Dev knew what her angle was. It was a battle for Drizella’s loyalty. Michelle was getting upset that she and KC have had to really work for Drizella and Ryan hasn’t tried to bond with her.

“What kind of challenge do you think it’ll be today?” Drizella looked at them.

“I hope it’s a puzzle, you’re good at those.” Michelle smiled and looked towards Driz.

“You’re not wrong.” She nodded.

“Yeah! That’s why we won immunity the last time.” Dev looked back at Michelle. Check. Drizella nodded rather than argued the fact.

CONFESSIONAL FROM DRIZELLA: So I guess when we started playing the game, KC, Michelle, and Ryan all linked up and uh, since we’re not the brain tribe, the geniuses didn’t realize that before isolating themselves, they’re still not a majority – close but not quite. And they threw me to the side with Dev and Max. So in order for Dev and Max to have a fighting chance, they need – who? Oh me? And now, ALL OF A SUDDEN, everybody wants to hang out with Driz. Hmm. Why could that be? I’ll just keep playing stupid and let the shots get fired without me.

“Yeah – that WAS all me, wasn’t it?” Drizella laughed. She knew that it wasn’t all just her.
Michelle took Driz in to be not the most intelligent but she also knew that it wasn’t strictly Driz that they won the challenge by. Dev spoke up for Driz by saying that they were behind, in dead last, and then took first. Michelle suggested that maybe if Driz was doing a different part, they still could’ve taken the lead and won. Dev accused Michelle of discrediting Driz’s contribution to the tribe. It ended up getting pretty headed because Dev was trying to turn Michelle away from Driz and vice versa.
And of course, Ryan and KC missed it all.

***At the Aparri tribe.

Sindy and Michael were making some of the extra rice for the challenge. They were just chatting and goofing off. James, Mike, and Caleb were sitting in a circle in the shade, right off the line where the forest started.

“They are getting closer.” James looked to Caleb and Mike.

“We could cut Michael first.” Caleb looked at them. “Then Sindy.”

“That’s exactly what she’d want though,” Mike was still confused as to why they were trying to get rid of Michael. “She will do ANYTHING to live another day out here. She knows she’s done. We get rid of her first.” He was starting to get frustrated. “Why are we still debating this?”

“Yeah but if we get rid of Michael first, Sindy will have nobody BUT us to trust.” Caleb shot him a look that suggested Caleb knew better but Mike wasn’t having it.

CONFESSIONAL FROM MIKE: Somethin’ is up about these two and I’m not really all that sure as to what it is yet… but I don’t like it.

Over by the fire, Sindy and Michael were chatting about making a move. Sindy was saying she’s ready to do whatever it takes. Michael nodded. He agreed. He knew that no matter what happened, Mike, James, and Caleb had the majority. But he was close with Mike so he also knew he had another majority with Sindy and he. Whatever happened, Michael was confident that ultimately, he decided who stayed and who went.

***At the Reward Challenge.
“Come on in, Luzon. Aparri and Solana getting a look at the new Luzon tribe. Riley, voted out at last night’s tribal.” Jeff announced and saw that nobody was took surprised. “Their tribe of six, now dwindled down to four.” He deferred from that back to the challenge. “Alright so who is ready for the first separate reward challenge, not tied in with the immunity challenge?” He heard Max holler and James gave a yeah. “Today’s challenge will require four of your teammates. You will have one person as the caller. They will then lead two other blindfolded members, who are tethered together, through this obstacle course. There are five items and a flag throughout this. The caller will lead the pair to an item, they’ll retrieve it, and then they’ll come it back. The third team member – also blindfolded – will have to pick up this item and put it on the platform where the caller is. Once all five items are claimed, the caller will direct them to the flag. Once the flag makes it back into the platform and is placed in its hole, you’ll win. Seem simple?” He waited. Everybody was nodding. “Okay so who wants to know what we’re playing for?” Of course, everybody was excited now. “First place… chickens and a rooster.” He lifted the tarp and Sindy pulled at her hair. “Second place… a dozen eggs.” He stepped out of the way and nobody was as thrilled, everybody would rather the chickens. “Alright, Solana, two extra members. The two that sit out WILL have to play in the immunity challenge – you cannot sit out back to back challenges, KC you will be playing this one. Aparri, you’ve got one extra member, when you’ve decided who’s sitting out, we’ll get started.” Jeff waited for everybody to do their talking before he started the challenge. “Alright, Solana has Max and Dev on the bench. Aparri has Caleb sitting out. Solana has Ryan calling, Michelle and KC retrieving, and Drizella blindly moving items. Luzon has Micky calling, Alex and Gangey retrieving, and Purple getting items. Aparri has Michael and Sindy retrieving items, James calling, and Mike moving solo. This challenge is live in three… two… GO!”

“GO FULL SPEED, GO GO GO.” Micky was hollering. “STRAIGHT FORWARD. STOP WHEN I YELL STOP.” Micky was being as loud as he could be to drown out the other two callers.

“Michael! Michael!” James was yelling. “SINDY. NO SINDY. SINDY, TO YOUR LEFT.”

“James, having trouble controlling his team from the start!” Jeff watched.

“Okay, KC, slowly, just creep forward, YES YES. OKAY GO UNDER THAT. YEAH! CRAWL!” Ryan was getting excited.

“Ryan with good control, leading his team to an early start, Luzon right behind them, James still working on controlling his team.” Probst watched as James got red in the face from yelling.

“LEFT. OH MY GOD LEFT. LEFT!!” James was jumping up and down.

“Okay!” Micky yelled. They got to their item first. “YES YES YES! BRING THAT BACK! REMEMBER, UNDER AND THEN JUST STRAIGHT BACK. YES YES!”

“Micky having GREAT lead on Alex and Gangey, they’re working well together. Solana coming back with their first item as well! Aparri, just getting to go under the log, all they had to do was walk forward from the start, but they couldn’t even do that!” Probst watched as James got super frustrated and started jumping up and down while stomping.

“James has hit a frustration level never reached before! Solana and Luzon are now tied for first again, passing Aparri at the log, they’re both back under! James just gives up on hollering, quitting!” Probst was watching James as he just stood there and recollected himself.

“Faster! Faster!” Micky yelled to Gangey. “We can pass them if we’re quick!”

“Gangey and Alex SPRINTING… BLINDFOLDED, under Micky’s command, they’re really functioning as a team! Did they trim off the right amount of fat to be successful?” Probst watched. James was commanding again. “Luzon pulling the lead, they drop off their second, Solana picking up their second, Luzon headed out for their third! Almost halfway done – Alex and Gangey know this course already, from having to pass it each time out and back!”

“Yes! Sindy! Yes!” James yelled. “Come back with that! Turn, turn, turn – STOP. NO SINDY STOP. GO BACK – THE OTHER WAY. THE. OTHER. WAY.” James kept yelling. Caleb was sitting on the sidelines with his hands on his cheeks.

“Just when there’s a glimmer of hope for Aparri, it goes away. Luzon picks up their third! Solana headed out there, did they maybe make some time up? Aparri finally. FINALLY! Heading back – in the right direction – with their first! Mike immediately feels for it and puts it up.” Probst turned back to the obstacle course. “Will they orient themselves to find the correct way back? Luzon TEARING this apart! Micky barely even having to communicate to them – Gangey taking the lead and Alex following holding the object, making their gap even bigger. Luzon drops off their fourth piece, headed out for their FIFTH AND FINAL BEFORE THE FLAG.” Jeff looked to Ryan who realized that it was almost too late to try and have his team blindly sprint and catch up. “Everybody seems to just be giving up except for Luzon! Luzon is still going full force even though the race is more of a walk. James, losing complete faith in Michael and Sindy, and Ryan realizing there’s not much he can do.”

“I can’t hear you!” Sindy was yelling. She kicked sand. “James! What the fuck?” She really wanted those chickens. “James!!!”

“Luzon coming back in with their fifth, Michelle and KC are walking now, they seem to be exhausted from the constant back and forth.” Nobody was in a rush anymore. “Everybody seems to have just GIVEN. UP.” Jeff was upset because – well, we all know Jeff hates quitters.

“Just walk it out! Don’t waste the energy.” Micky told Alex and Gangey.

“Luzon places their fifth, Solana picking up the pace to maybe try and catch up – they’re going back out for their flag though.” Jeff was unenthused in recapping because nobody was making it exciting to watch. “Gangey, grabbing the flag, Alex taking the lead back now. Solana running into barrels – finally getting their flag.”

“Here – over here!” Purple was yelling for Alex and Gangey. The trade was successful and the flag was put in the hole.

“Luzon with first place! Solana about to tag second…” Jeff waited for them to finish.

“Aparri – not that you guys were trying, but this challenge is over.” Everybody took their blindfolds off and regrouped. “Luzon… the four of you NEEDED this, and it showed. Take the chickens and head out.” Purple grabbed the cage, all smiles, and they left. “Solana, looks like you’ll be having some omelets tonight.” Drizella walked up and snatched the eggs from Jeff. “Aparri… if I EVER… E V E R catch a performance like that from you guys again…” Jeff paused. “Get going.”

***At the Luzon tribe.
CONFESSIONAL FROM ALEX: I think Luzon needed this. The win brought us all together and gave us a sense of unity and… it’s nice. We’re finally a tribe again – let’s see how long that lasts.

Purple was tying rope around the chicken’s foot and then to a tree. “I think we should keep the hens and kill the rooster.” He wanted to eat it up almost immediately.

“I … right off the bat?” Micky questioned it. Gangey and Alex were on board.

“There’s gotta be some type of switch up coming soon.” Gangey looked at Micky. “We should at least have the reward that WE earned for ourselves now.” Micky didn’t argue and the boys tore apart the chicken while Alex sat off to the side.

“Oh god…” She realized that now would be a good time to go off by herself and search for an idol. “I can’t bear that sound.” She fake gagged. “Okay, all that blood is making me nauseous. I’ll be over there.” She didn’t search too rigorously because she knew they’d keep an eye on her. Her eyes wandered the treeline and the rocks. She saw that Purple was watching her so she didn’t try to go digging anywhere, her outcome was unsuccessful.

All while Alex was off searching, Gangey took the opportunity to throw Alex under the bus with Micky and Purple. His argument was that she was shifty – playing both sides. With him, they at least knew he didn’t vote with the majority. He mentioned how she was idol hunting now and did they really think they could trust someone hunting for an idol. He told them he’d do anything to stay, but he wouldn’t push it yet since immunity was yet to come.

***At the Solana Tribe.
“Good hustle today, guys.” Max looked at Drizella and Ryan. “Phenomenal team work.”

“Really, you guys killed it.” Drizella fed out the line to see who would take the bait.

“I mean, if we were quicker, we could’ve had first. You were great, Driz.” KC it was.

The compliments were going back and forth. Congratulating Ryan for calling well, Driz for finding the items without Ryan’s help, Michelle and KC for getting out there so quick. They were just circulating on fake energy and everybody got annoyed but tried to fake a smile.

CONFESSIONAL FROM RYAN: As a man who is associated with beauty, I know what’s happening. We’re all being so fake right now. -the episode aired them all chatting- We know at some point, SOMEONE will have to go from our side. The faker and nicer we are, the more people feel comfortable. The more people won’t throw your name out. It’s…. somethin’. However, I’m not worried because… I still have the idol.

***At the Aparri tribe.

“If you’re not here to compete, why are you here?” Sindy wasn’t hesitant on freaking out towards James giving up. “I don’t understand!” She kicked the sand.

“Calm down, it was just reward.” James looked at her. “You didn’t see how far behind we were. You guys weren’t listening anyways.”

“We couldn’t hear you!” Michael was also a little upset, for Sindy.

“To be fair,” Mike, from the middle ground, joined in. “I could barely hear him from the base of the podium and I was right there. Micky WAS loud.”

“Thank you.” James looked at him.

“It was a shitty performance!” Sindy looked at Caleb who was quiet. She took off to go sit at the shore.

“That’s why she’s the next vote.” Michael looked at the guys and they all laughed. Caleb nodded, even though he was very, VERY much trying to scheme for Michael’s demise.
Michael worked his way back into Caleb, James, and Mike because Sindy was off by herself. He again, was feeling more comfortable than ever with his placement in the tribe.
