(Since I’ve only listened once I’m going to round up for my album rating)
Also ; I didn’t know which version of this album to listen to so I did the deluxe deluxe version. The Fame Monster (Deluxe)
Every single song was iconic and either a banger or just an amazing song.
I’m definitely going to be relistening to this album over and over again, but this review is for my first listen.
I feel like my favorite songs were the slower ones because they stood out more because they were inbetween so many iconic amazing bangers, but if I made a standout list there’d be no end to it, this entire album was a standout list.
The only songs I was not completely jamming to was Alejandro and Teeth. I just never cared for Alejandro as much as I cared for her other hits (sorry if that offended any of you monsters!!) and Teeth was kind of just... it was good and I jammed but I was like tf is this shit
I don’t have any specific complaints, but here’s my objective rating of it that was calculated after rating each song and doing an average of the entire album overall..
ALBUM RATING : A
I rounded up a bit because of my recency bias and not really being familiar with the songs yet. This could lower down to an A- overtime or maybe who knows maybe it’s a masterpiece that will grow even more on me.
Watch ANY live performance of Teeth at her Monster Ball tour and her ICONIC speech she does in the performance of the song and then fkn tell me Teeth is shit
