I paid 20.0 T$ to play my first game of #survivor, and I was so excited! I gave up my own stats to stoke the fire, gather food & water, competed in all of the challenges...
...but nobody else in my tribe did the same. They never gathered anything, consumed it all for themselves, and didn't even compete in challenges. We went to tribal every single time, and they voted out the people who actually competed in challenges.
So disappointing to have spent my T$ to play that game instead of saving up for my next colour, and it basically just being a complete waste. Really sucks that people are like that.
:( sorry your first experience in survivor was bad, you will get better in challenges the more you practice but heres a few tips for next time you play:
Remember food and water determine your time and bonus for challenges and also keep you alive in the game, so the higher they are the better score you will get but consider a few things to use your resources wisely:
- Dont take any supply if fire isnt on, theres a high chance your stats will drop very low, you can even die and be eliminated
- Dont drink water unless youre at 0 water, it isnt easy to increase the tribe water level so dont drink everyday
- Hunt as much as you can, but you can also eat what you need. Food isnt that hard to get unlike water so it isnt s big issue
- Dont stoke the fire, ever. Just a waste of water
- And collect water when you can, it takes a bit of your own food but you can eat that back for doing the tribe a favor.
Sorry you had a bad experience. I even face the same thing sometimes as a higher level and 5 years on the site. Sometimes it’s just the luck of the draw and social game can play a big role in who goes. Hope you have a better time if you do decide to try it again :)
there can be tribes like that... which really sucks, but I wouldn't give up, survivor is my favourite game on this site!! once you've levelled up a bit more and have some spare T$ i would join again, it could be different :)
