Arca - Arca (2017) RANKED

imageMy most-streamed album of March this year, and for a good reason. I wasn't huge into Arca until I listened to Utopia, and learned of Arca's major part in the album as a whole, before diving into her discography. I streamed KiCk i before I listened to the Self Title, so I wasn't sure of what to expect from this album. Turns out, I love it more than KiCk i and now own it on Vinyl lmao. As usual, if you don't agree with me, fuck off 💋😚😍💕💕💖

NOTES:
- Reverie and Desafío really hit home with me. I 100% did cry after listening to Desafío.
- Piel is such an amazing opening track wtf??? Maybe hot take, but if your opening track is not one of you top 1/3 tracks, then you're not sequencing your album correctly.
- Speaking of sequencing, this album does it PERFECTLY. Whip is the only track that could go in a few places, but I think it's spot before Desafío was the best choice.
- Sin Rumbo being the only song from the Entrañas mixtape was a bit upsetting but it was also the best song from it so I guess I'll take it (Entrañas is good too, if you wanna check out something else by Arca, though it's certainly going to be a challenge to listen to if you're not accustomed to the Arca sound).
