I opened my garage door to see a pigeon sitting next to the driveway, I sat down next to it, and it was weird..it didn't fly away from me, it crawled closer to me.
I grabbed an old tea towel, because I know how filthy pigeons are, I laid my hand flat and it stood on it, I lifted it up close to me, it laid down on its back and slowly closed its eyes.
It died in my hands, I softly cried and disposed of it in the proper way.
If there is any other superstitious people out there, a dead bird is a sign of a bad omen, or some news coming, or someone that will enter your life that will change it forever.
I go back to school tomorrow, and we are getting some new students, perhaps it is one of them?
It was a bit emotional for the poor little thing, I don't know what it died from, but I'm glad I was there with it <3.
