imageI decided to go through every Stars and give some of what I thought were the interesting things to take from each of them.  This is part three of a three-part series.  Here's part one: http://www.tengaged.com/blog/Holder/988382/a-brief-history-stars-part-1-stars-1-40 and part two: http://www.tengaged.com/blog/Holder/1092328/a-brief-history-stars-part-2-stars-41-80 I've pointed out each time a finalist has gone unnominated and each time a finalist survived five or more evictions.  If you have anything you think I should add, or any corrections to make to the blog, please send me mail or let me know in a comment here.

NOTES ON THIS ERA OF STARS GAMES:
•Of the 14 players going unnommed, 6 of those 14 ended up winning.
-1 time, two players went unnommed in the same Stars (neither won).
•Of the 5 players surviving five or more nominations, 4 won.
-3 times, a player survived five nominations and made the F3. They won 2 out of the 3.
-2 times, a player survived six nominations and made the F3. They won 2 out of the 2.

We see another decline in unnominated players and flavors in this most recent era.  Since Stars 1, there has been a definite change in the way the game is played and the way the public votes.  Way less unnommed players, way less flavors.

Stars 81:  Abrogate wins.  Savcodushe makes it unnommed to the F4 and gets 3rd.

Stars 82:  ZEEnon is nominated SIX TIMES and flavors it up to get 1st.  Fiona89 (2nd) and hoodieboy7449 (3rd) BOTH go UNNOMMED.  And Corey1 gets 8th.

Stars 83:  Holder goes UNNOMMED in his first Stars and wins :)

Stars 84:  Charming2010 gets his win.  Mikedistanz gets 2nd and RidersDX gets 3rd.

Stars 85:  LaQuawnda wins!

Stars 86:  Blogs gets his vlog on and wins this one.  DanVanDam takes 2nd and je7467 takes 3rd.

Stars 87:  Randomkid22 goes UNNOMMED and wins, while dools and moup94 are nominated thrice each and take 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Stars 88:  MoreBeastThanYou wins, being nominated just once.

Stars 89:  Stars All-Stars.  Only past Stars winners were allowed to join and there were public polls, etc. to decide the cast.  Maggie (1st), cheznahuf (2nd), anduchuck08 (3rd), karim (4th), Charming2010 (5th), NoelSarah (6th), Genevere (7th), mikedistanz (8th), Uskyld (9th), Lexxu (10th), Fiona89 (11th), BioDork (12th), lonlee (13th), MarkiePoo (14th), Emmaleigh (15th), Alegeeter (16th).

Stars 90:  BlueStar wins this Stars after being snubbed from a spot in All-Stars (some say).

Stars 91:  Very close between 2008girl (36.0%) and Phenomanimal (35.6%).  WillyEx gets 3rd.

Stars 92:  The Big Stars Giveaway 4.  Pinacolada goes UNNOMMED and wins, ZIMY gets 2nd, and a very gorgeous princesskk comes in 3rd.

Stars 93:  MinsiKid goes UNNOMMED and wins, while dorkishbarbi goes unnommed to the F4 and gets 2nd.

Stars 94:  TripleXXX, who had been trying since Stars 1, finally gets his win.  Trishytrash goes unnommed to the F4, but gets 3rd.

Stars 95:  Emmaleigh makes it to the F4 unnommed and Fiona89 stays off the block after being nominated for 16th.  Emmaleigh wins her fifth Stars, JJJJ gets 2nd, and Fiona89 gets 3rd.

Stars 96:  Pepper gets to the F4 unnominated and JustMe keeps herself off the block after going up for 16th.  JustMe wins and Pepper is the runner-up.

Stars 97:  Sw33t survives nominations for 4th and 5th to make the F3 and win this Stars.  Patrick319 comes in 2nd.  Cuuum gets 3rd.  Teehee…sw33t cuuum.

Stars 98:  Tinabeena goes up thrice in a row near the end and makes the F3, but is runner-up to Uskyld, who wins by only 0.6%

Stars 99:  BbDamian.UNNOMMED.win.

Stars 100:  BlackWidow wins the 100th Stars.

Stars 101:  Lonlee survives being nommed FIVE TIMES (including four in a row) and wins Stars.  Sash makes it to the F4 unnommed and gets 2nd.  Sportsdevil654 goes unnommed from 16th and gets 3rd.

Stars 102:  Close vote here:  Phenomanimal nominated three times (31.6%), Bradd156 UNNOMMED (33.2%), and wwemrpeeps nominated four times (35.2%).  So…yeah.  That happened.

Stars 103:  PrincessTeePee wins, while Robbster1313 gets 2nd and Kgaddis gets 3rd in this back-and-forth Stars.

Stars 104:  EmmaLynn (1st), JordanLloydFan (2nd), and Aristotle (3rd) are each nominated once on their way to the F3.

Stars 105:  Puma is the winner here.

Stars 106:  DiNoM goes UNNOMMED and gets 1st place.  ZEEnon gets 2nd.  Owee13 goes unnominated 'til 4th and gets 3rd.

Stars 107:  Vanili, JamesM, treytrey97…in that order.

Stars 108:  TheRealMessiah goes UNNOMMED, and in his speech he basically says he doesn't deserve the win.  He gets 2nd.  Markuskaus goes unnominated 'til the F4 and gets 3rd.  Bella777 wins this one.

Stars 109:  Pepper wins Stars after coming in 2nd in his previous two.  Chitochu gets 2nd.  The always ravishing princesskk comes in a disappointing 3rd.

Stars 110:  MattyBB9 goes unnommed from 16th and wins.  Finklestein123 (2nd) and qwert2 (3rd) are each nommed thrice.

Stars 111:  2008girl wins again, being nominated four times.  MinsiKid and owee13 get 2nd and 3rd.

Stars 112:  Sandizzle wins, making it to the F4 unnommed.  Corey1 gives it another try for some reason, but is again eliminated the first time he gets nominated (5th).  Fingers crossed for next time!  I know you'll win!

Stars 113:  Yoki is nommed FIVE TIMES, but survives each time and wins this Stars.  Jakel0vespicklerr goes UNNOMMED but gets 3rd.  SamMacTavish gets 2nd.

Stars 114:  1st - Fiona89.  2nd - ShayyBayy.  3rd - Loowis.

Stars 115:  QueenDoe wins The BSG5. 

Stars 116:  Wonderland goes unnommed to the F4 and wins.  Frequent Stars allies and friends dorkishbarbi and jm101 make it to the F3 together but get 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Stars 117:  The first "glitched" Stars, this Stars had 17 contestants instead of the usual 16.  Phenomanimal gets his win.  Tofutime is nommed four times and gets 2nd.  Austin goes unnommed all the way to the F4 but ends up 3rd.

Stars 118:  Probably one of the most infamous Stars ever.  Someguy123 becomes an unlikely flavor, coming from relative obscurity and surviving SIX NOMINATIONS.  JordanLloydFan goes UNNOMMED but gets 2nd.  Anthony2011Class gets 3rd.  Oh and Corey1 goes unnommed 'til 4th and gets 4th.  One day…

Stars 119:  Aquamarine goes UNNOMMED but comes in 2nd to BlueLagoon506.  BB5lover gets 3rd.

Stars 120:  ZEEnon wins.  GurlBai survives FIVE TIMES on his way to 2nd.  Joe1110 (despite being logged off for like four irl days) goes UNNOMMED and gets 3rd.

Well, that does it for this blog series.  It was fun :D  I hope everyone got a little something out of it.

•Of the 19 players going unnommed, 6 of those 19 ended up winning.
-4 times, two players went unnommed in the same Stars.
•Of the 10 players surviving five or more nominations, 8 won.
-4 times, a player survived five nominations and made the F3. They won 3 out of the 4.
-4 times, a player survived six nominations and made the F3. They won 3 out of the 4.
-1 player (Mack3199) survived seven nominations and made the F3. He won.
-1 player (Xexplosive) survived EIGHT nominations and made the F3. He won.

We can see a huge decline in unnominated players and a small decline flavors here in these "Middle Ages" of Stars.

Stars 41:  After being insanely flavored in Stars 34, TheGreatXL goes UNNOMMED here and wins.  Farside gets 2nd.  Emmaleigh makes another F3, but gets 3rd.

Stars 42:  Maggie goes UNNOMMED and wins.  Buddyalc is nommed thrice in a row heading into the finals and gets 2nd.  Corey1 goes UNNOMMED again…but gets 3rd again and we're all shocked.  But he did use the word "flavatism" in his speech, which is neat.

Stars 43:  Jazz wins.  BlueLagoon506 goes UNNOMMED and gets 3rd.

Stars 44:  The final 3 are lonee, Cosgrove, and Frozen.  Frozen goes UNNOMMED and lonee is nommed FIVE TIMES.  Lonlee wins…Frozen gets 3rd.

Stars 45:  Xexplosive is survives being nominated a record EIGHT TIMES and wins this Stars, while andychuck08 and crazy342 go UNNOMMED and get 2nd and 3rd.

Stars 46:  Uskyld goes UNNOMMED and is crowned Stars champion.  AlohaLani (2nd) and rippyroo (3rd) are both nominated once.

Stars 47:  WillyEx wins with 51.1% of the vote.  DarkKnight goes UNNOMMED and gets 2nd.

Stars 48:  Skeeet is nommed four times in a row heading into the F3 and wins.  An UNNOMMED jm101 gets 3rd place.

Stars 49:  AntNikiaBonnie gets 1st in this seesaw of a Stars.

Stars 50:  Crystall is the winner of Stars 50.

Stars 51:  Big Stars Giveaway 2.  Nixx goes unnommed to the F4…Mielz survives four evictions…but it's cheznahuf who wins this Stars.

Stars 52:  Bluestar wins.  D0ubl31 makes his third finals, but comes up short again.

Stars 53:  BengalBoy, Patrick7893, and bradd156 are each nommed once on their way to the F3.  BengalBoy is the winner here.  Chocolate milk is involved?

Stars 54:  After five straight Stars without a true flavor or unnommed player, Stars 54 has one of each!  BlackWidow (as a female) is nommed FIVE TIMES, including four in a row leading up to the finals.  He wins.  Uskyld goes UNNOMMED and gets 3rd.

Stars 55:  Close one.  1st Kaffreya (35.7%)…2nd Abrogate (32.9%)…3rd ccpath (31.4%).  Kaffreya goes UNNOMMED.  Possibly the first player to win on two different accounts.

Stars 56:  BlueLagoon506 wins a solidly played Stars.

Stars 57:  In another well-played Stars, Josh742 edges out comprisedpuma and RidersDX.  Another close F3 vote…35.5%/34.0%/31.5%.

Stars 58:  The beloved NoelSarah wins.  Uskyld goes unnommed from 16th to make the F3 and get 2nd (first time that happens).

Stars 59:  One of the strangest-looking results ever.  Vendetta gets 41.6% and doesn't win.  Emmaleigh wins with 43.5%.  Knixuk goes unnommed to till' the F4 and gets an epically low 14.9% of the F3 vote.

Stars 60:  Corey goes UNNOMMED again and gets 3rd again  *gasp*  Charming2010 also goes UNNOMMED and gets 2nd.  Cheznahuf survives being nommed SIX TIMES and wins, getting over 50% of the vote.

Stars 61:  2.3% separate 1st from 3rd place in this F3. 1st LuvinLife123 (34.2%), 2nd MerPear (33.9%), 3rd Alexxandra (31.9%).

Stars 62:  Anthony2011class wins Stars.  Dav_o_79 isn't nommed 'til the F4, but gets 3rd place.

Stars 63:  Vicious edges out Vendetta by 1/2 of a percentage point to win this Stars.

Stars 64:  Mikedistanz and MoreBeastThanYou are each nommed once.  Mike gets 1st and Beast gets 3rd.  Sportsdevil654 is nommed four times and gets 2nd.

Stars 65:  Nicolette (2nd) and lonlee (3rd) are nominated once each.  Mack3199 survives being nommed SEVEN TIMES and wins.

Stars 66:  Abrogate volunteers to go up for 5th vs. Megan (who had already survived four times).  He survives and it pays off…he wins this Stars.  TeePee gets 2nd and Alex1991 (unnommed 'til F4) gets 3rd.

Stars 67:  MarkiePoo wins.

Stars 68:  Andychuck08 wins.  Corey1 goes unnommed 'til the F4 and gets 4th.  You go girl.

Stars 69:  Konohavillage1 survives nomination SIX TIMES and gets 2nd place.  Richpaca and skeeet go UNNOMMED.  Skeeet wins Stars.

Stars 70:  Beastlee Stars.  Lonlee goes UNNOMMED and wins.  Beast is nommed for 16th and stays off the block 'til the F3.

Stars 71:  GurlBai is nominated FIVE TIMES and wins Stars. 

Stars 72:  Big Stars Giveaway 3.  BigBrotherFanGirl09 weeeens. 

Stars 73:  Maggie gets nommed once and wins.  Tennisallstar94 is nommed once and gets 2nd.  Josh742 gets nommed twice (taking out flavor mikedistanz) heading into the F3 and gets 3rd.

Stars 74:  Clayton is nomad SIX TIMES and ends up winning.  Ryatur20 goes UNNOMMED and gets 3rd.  Joeyjones and Fiona89 go unnommed to the F4.  Joey survives and gets 2nd.

Stars 75:  Mielz wins while being nommed for 4th, 6th, and 7th.  Lemon 5029 (3rd) and Sassy003 (2nd) are nommed once each.

Stars 76:  Lindb"lad" wins.  Realitynerd and Scheuerman14 get 2nd and 3rd.

Stars 77:  Karim 1st.  Vendetta 2nd.  Crazy342 3rd.

Stars 78:  Fiona89 and randomkid22 are nommed once each and get 1st and 2nd.  Apparently Fiona gets banned for the last three days.  Qwert2 survives being nominated FIVE TIMES to get 3rd.  Corey1 goes unnommed 'til 5th and gets 5th.  You'll get 'em next time, booboo.  What's that?  He won't?  Oh, ok…nvm.  <3

Stars 79:  Trishytrash, supergoten, and Ev32 make the F3 nominated once each.  Ev32 takes out flavor JordanLloydFan and gets 2nd.  Trishy wins.

Stars 80:  MarkiePoo gets nominated for 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th, 11th, and 15th (SIX TIMES) and wins.  MoreBeastThanYou goes UNNOMMED and gets 2nd.  Anthony2011class is nommed once and gets 3rd.

Stars 1:  In the beginning, there was Grayson.  Grayson10001 and ksax00 go UNNOMMED.  Grayson10001 gets 1st and ksax00 gets 3rd.

Stars 2:  Flavors are born.  Chels05 goes on the block SIX TIMES.  Lexxu goes UNNOMMED.  Chels gets 1st and Lexxu gets 3rd.

Stars 3:  Lockie went UNNOMMED, but got 2nd.  Kathreya won.

Stars 4:  A close vote. 1st (34.2%) Richpaca…2nd (33.2%) jeffypop…3rd (32.7%) Aarias.  Araias went UNNOMMED.  Corey1 got 16th.

Stars 5:  A lopsided vote.  1st (54.3%) Daisy…2nd (29.8%) bbfan…3rd (15.9%) Halio88.  Daisy survived FIVE TIMES and crushed each opponent.

Stars 6:  Storm makes it to F4 unnommed and wins handily after name-dropping in his speech.

Stars 7:  Lockie and Kathreya both make F3 again (see Stars 3).  This time, Kathreya made it UNNOMMED, but got 3rd.  Lockie won, making in to F4 unnomed.

Stars 8:  NoelSarah survives SIX TIMES and gets 1st.  Corey1 gets 16th.

Stars 9:  Flavor jakel0vespickler gets nommed SIX TIMES and wins, getting 59.1% of the vote.

Stars 10:  jrxox8 and Maggie both go UNNOMMED.  Pogo11 survives FIVE TIMES and wins.

Stars 11:  Haskova and Kathreya both go UNNOMMED, and neither wins.  Jensa101 (after taking out the flavor rippyroo) gets 1st with 56.5%.  Rippyroo was nominated six times.

Stars 12:  Interesting outcome.  Chris99x wins, edging out UNNOMMED AngelOfWater (35.3% to 35.0%).  3rd place AndyShields survives being nominated FIVE TIMES.

Stars 13:  NoelSarah becomes the first two-time Stars winner.

Stars 14:  Flava jakel0vespickler survives FIVE TIMES to become the second two-time Stars winner.

Stars 15:  Cosgrove and Daniel go UNNOMMED, but Emmaleigh wins.

Stars 16:  Lexxu gets 1st, while surstromming goes UNNOMMED.

Stars 17:  Alegeeter wins.  That is all.

Stars 18:  Nommed for 13th, Corey1 is evicted with 81% of the vote, beaten by IAmPaxton who stays and makes the F3.  Richpaca goes UNNOMMED, but oleary91 wins this Stars with 57.4%.

Stars 19:  AndyShields wins, and Emmaleigh goes UNNOMMED.

Stars 20:  Alisowned goes UNNOMMED and wins.  Swatza survives FIVE TIMES in a row leading up to the F3, and gets 2nd place.  MarkiePoo goes UNNOMMED and gets 3rd.  Corey made the F4.

Stars 21:  Knixuk goes UNNOMMED in his first Stars and wins.

Stars 22:  Phanne and surstromming both go UNNOMMED.  Phanne wins with 52.7% and surstromming gets 3rd with 17.9%.

Stars 23:  Dramallama56 survives FIVE TIMES to make the F3, but girlracer265 wins this Stars.

Stars 24:  Tennisallstar94 survives SIX TIMES on the way to the F3, only to get 2nd place to an UNNOMMED Emmaleigh (who became the third two-time Stars winner).  Oh, and Uskyld also went UNNOMMED.

Stars 25:  IRL brothers Cosgrove and 2cool4school both go UNNOMMED, but neither win.  A close F3 vote.  BioDork 1st (35.3%)…Cosgrove 2nd (32.9%)…2cool4school 3rd (31.8%).

Stars 26:  Alegeeter goes UNNOMMED and gets 2nd place to EssexGirl, who wins with 42.4% of the vote.

Stars 27:  Emmaleigh and surstromming go UNNOMMED.  IAmPaxton survives four nominations, edges out surstromming in the vote by 1%, and wins Stars.

Stars 28:  The BSG 1.  EnragedBeauty wins.

Stars 29:  Genevere wins, going UNNOMMED. Yay.

Stars 30:  An UNNOMMED AlphaBravo gets 2nd, while xxJaym survives being nominated SIX TIMES and wins.

Stars 31:  JJJJ goes UNNOMMED and wins.

Stars 32:  OliviaSofie (35.3%), AlanaDee (34.3%), tennisallstar94 (30.4%).

Stars 33:  Emmaleigh wins her third Stars.

Stars 34:  SEVEN-TIME nominee TheGreatXL wins this Stars by a landslide, while Alegeeter and Maggie go UNNOMMED.

Stars 35:  LillyXoXo is nommed SIX TIMES and wins, while the UNNOMMED imxrated93 gets 3rd place.

Stars 36:  RObbyROb and Vessa go UNNOMMED.  RObbyROb wins, Vessa gets 3rd.  Uskyld goes unnomed until the F4 and gets 2nd.

Stars 37:  Skeeet is nommed SIX TIMES and gets 3rd.  Karim wins, going UNNOMMED in his/her first Stars.

Stars 38:  Corey1 makes F3 UNNOMMED (gets 3rd obv), and Maggie wins.

Stars 39:  Surstromming goes UNNOMMED AGAIN and finally gets his win.

Stars 40:  Mikedistanz wins. That's all I got for ya.
