Vanili, It's a super fun game :) Sims is generally a game worth buying, but you do need to know which Sims to buy. Yes, there are major differences between Sims 3 and Sims 4.
Yeah, Sims 4 is newer. it does have a few added features, for example, now they have moods. And when sims bring up conversations, it says whether the conversation is Pleasant, Unpleasant, romantic, sad, etc. You can also make clubs and groups in Sims 4. I personally loved making a sorority and added 20 sims in it :)
Sims 4 "Create a sim" feature is So Detailed, like I can't even describe how detailed it is. I made this sim resembling Jenzie in like 10 minutes : http://i.imgur.com/hhs6zP8.png . You can change everything, From Eye Shape, To where the point goes, to the widening of the eye, to the size of pupil, eyebrows, you can stretch eyes out to make them the shape you want, change their height, change your nose to however you want, lips, jaw, cheekbone, head size, shape, forehead, etc. You can also change their hips, waists, boobs, butts, lets, shoulders, basically EVERYTHING.
I love this because you can sculpt their faces However you want, and I've seen people replicate celebrities so good that I was actually wowed. Sims 3 Create a sim isn't as detailed.
What's bad about Sims 4? It was rushed, the town sucked, unrealistic, you can't change from sim to sim. Sims 3 gave it realism, life, The town was filled with HUNDREDS of sims and they all had jobs and their own lives, Whereas in sims 4, a town has around 30 residents in it. In Sims 3 you can ride taxis, throw parties, and so much more.
Sims 4 SUCKED. If you were going from house to house, it would give you a loading screen and you would spawn outside their lawn.
I just love Sims 4 because of the Create a sim basically. You can even choose 2 sims and see what their baby would look like. Super cute :)
I wouldn't even bother playing sims 4 as there isn't much to do. I only love it for the "Create a sim". However I can Play Sims 3 for hours and hours and not get bored. I Love it. Sims 3 is very worth buying, Sims 4... i mean if you really want sims 4, you could download it for free, I wouldn't waste my money on it, especially when the creating a sim feature is the only thing that was good.
