I think if you have enough friends willing to join a game and help or let you win, it shouldn’t matter what colour you are... there are quite a few higher levels on this site who are happy to help newer players. If you don’t want to help, don’t :)
Yeah, I see your point. I guess I see the karma and ts as very secondary to the time spent getting to know people during the game. If I were to join with a bunch of people who I enjoy chatting to and who I’d like to get to know better, what’s the harm in it being a ‘charity’ game?
I guess some people who have TV Star level are still trying to get more karma to get into the HOF or whatever other ‘status’ they might be aiming for but there are others who play for the social and fun aspect of it and who are more than happy to help others out.
I don’t imagine people are having charity after charity for the same person but it gives them a boost at least.
