In too many words

I would suggest reading more than Tao on the spiritual side. Ever read the Caibalion? If you are open enough to understand, there is no loss to mourn and this isnt me being insensitive. As long as we have heart and mind, ability to focus, we have people inside of us. Take care

That flip flop is still a part of the world, just not in your sight. It's still in your life.

It's not bad the flip flop is in a plastic bag in the dumpster in Denton. Who knows where it's particles will end up a million years from now.

I'm very open to all spiritual texts. If I wasn't that wouldn't be in accordance with the Tao. Never heard of the Caibalion.

This isn't about my Father's Death. However, I admit my Father's Death was a catalyst to becoming more or less comfortable with temporality. A welcome one at that. Socrates(Plato): the unexamined life is not worth living. Steve Covey: 1st Habit of Highly effective people. Etc. I'm not complaining about the closeness of death. Just getting more comfortable with it.
