Hi, I just wanted to blog about my time on Tengaged, which started 10 years ago today. I've only been active for 3-4 of those years, however.
First off, I'd be lying if I said this website didn't have an impact on me. My 1st account was CHAD814, I haven't kept it a secret if you asked but 95% of people wouldn't remember me anyway. I didn't make too many friends back when I first started on here, and I was really young and was definitely a bit of an asshole to people. I had nothing in common with most people and those who didn't know me well thought I was in my mid-20s. Now I AM in my mid-20s (24 on Friday) and I'm not much different, but I try to be much nicer to people unless they aren't nice to me. I don't take results (group games are all I play now) seriously and it's just fun to play them and meet cool people.
All my old friends are long gone except 1 ( mikec51), and I've met some great new people since returning. You guys know who you are ( Flipflops). I'm glad I returned, maybe I'll stay awhile longer but I'm not sure.
My timeline:
- From 2010-2012 I actually played games
- Reached Silver level (oddly never played Survivor which was rare for silver levels)
- Played Stars in 2011
- Around 2012 I think, I got involved with The Epics. Fun group that I had things in common with.
- By 2014, I was off the site for good
- Returned on this account in April 2020
Hey everyone, I'm planning a group game series that will only be QUICK GAMES! This will be done as a group game and I'd eventually do other seasons of "quick games" as well but I wanted to start with Survivor. If you're even somewhat interested, please let me know!
Basically these are full games of Survivor, Big Brother, or something else that will hopefully last about 2 hours in length. I guess these are called "minis" nowadays. So the challenges will be quick and the tribal councils will be short and intense!
I'm just seeing right now if anyone would be interested before I go any further in the process. I don't have a date or time on when this would be yet.
You're literally living on land looted from Natives. The USA was built on the backs of people who were literally stolen from another continent and forced to come here. They've been fighting for centuries and it's still necessary to fight today, and you have no right to tell people how to act. Pay more attention!
