There is nothing online about his supposed casting. He may have gotten a call from the producers personally, but Stephen Stohn and the Degrassi producers ALWAAYS releases press releases whenever a new person is casted. An audition is not the same as being casted - I remember auditioning back in 2004 or 5 for the show, did a couple round of call back. I think the only person in the round of auditions that made the show was Shenae and Jamie though and Shenae had already appeared as a glorified extra, so they just merged her into the same person cause they liked her..
I wish Gabriel the best though, it would be cool if he did get on.

oh, cause i remember this newbie, but i dont think it was that user, saying he was going to be on degrassi and everyone in the fasting was like "nope".
