Rinas new album. So last week I blogged about not loving albums and preferring eps bc the ideas are more clear and there’s less space for filler songs.
Now, take “Hold The Girl” for example. Imagine we start with “hold the girl” the song as the EP opener (great song) but find a way for the outro of filler track “forgiveness” to be the outro of this song instead then do tracks 6-9 of the released album (“Holy (Till you let me go)”, “Your Age”, “Imagining”, and “Frankenstein”) be tracks 2-5 of the EP because they’re CLEARLY the best songs on this album. Then finish with “This Hell” for iconic mainstream pop fun as a continuation of the monster she feels like but in a more fun way and that’d be the whole six song EP
THIS EP WOULD EAT SOOOOOOO HARD! And we wouldn’t be stuck with these (oops sorry) filler stadium rock tracks when Rina went OFFFFFFFFF on these other tracks
