In the fastings, where there are only 15 contestants, you only need 8 people to control the game. But take into consideration the fact that not everyone is going to be alligned and the 1-3 inactives that will ruin their chances of making another big alliance.
So an alliance of 6 will be good enough. But however, you'll all have to turn on eachother eventually. Whether it be when only alliance members are left or when the last non-alliance member wins POV.
Either way, it'll suck as only 3 people will be able to make Final 3. And at least 1 person will get mad.
I personally like making large alliances. They give me a better chance of making it to the end. Such as what happened in this game: http://www.tengaged.com/game/38103
When alliance members are left, I can now make a Final 3 deal with people and hopefully it takes me there.
So what do you think? Do you like being in these large alliances despite the turmoil at the end?
Most of us don't like inactives, especially in Fastings. So why take them to the end?
Strategically, taking them to the final 3 gives you a better chance at winning. They don't comment, so they don't get any points and they don't vote for you
And the process of actually carrying them all the way can be difficult; someone you try to save, yet they don't vote with you. So it sometimes pays off in the end. It also gets the attention away from you as the other contestants will usually try to get rid of them.
But is it really fair to those who are evicted before them?
I personally don't like it when people choose to keep an inactive over me. It makes me feel kinda crumy.
