We are looking for a Full Time Patient Scheduler to join our upscale medical facility located in ***. This is an extremely fast paced, high volume and high stress position. The right candidate needs to be able to handle the volume, while also remaining professional, respectful and provide outstanding customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
There are several different tasks that you would be responsible for and would rotate through weekly with your fellow schedulers, while also covering the scheduling phone line.
Faxes: This scheduler is responsible for processing all incoming faxes in our electronic fax portal, entering them in our scheduling software and allocating them appropriately. We receive over 75+ faxes daily.
Calls/Emails: This scheduler is responsible for completing the next step after a patient has been entered in the scheduling software. As well as, processing any incoming emailed requests for scheduling. This includes over 50 emails and about 75 to 100 inbound and outbound calls daily.
Pre-Orders: This scheduler is responsible for following up on every patient we have received a referral for, but for whatever reason has not been able to be scheduled yet. This also includes over 50 emails and 75 to 100 outbound calls daily.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must be detail oriented and able to multitask in a high volume/high stress environment
Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
Scheduling protocols are constantly being updated, so the right candidate must be able to easily adjust to change.
Someone who can quickly move from one task to the next, without being directed to.
High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred
Spanish speaker preferred but not required.
