Welcome back to my basement music tasters!
Today, we have another special judge with their own theme! Please welcome to my basement the host of his own Big Brother game, NanoNerd! Now I'll leave the rest to #NanoNerd.
"You may or may not know me for my many blog games! As you may know... Colin doesn’t really like to take most things seriously. That’s why for this round, I want to shake things up by having you all come up with songs that express deep inner meanings. When you post the song, it wouldn’t hurt to explain what that deep meaning is! Good luck!"-#NanoNerd
That was the most offensive speech I've ever heard but this isn't about me being offended, it's about tasting music! I think...
Anyways you lot got 72 hours to submit a song. Yup 72! 3 whole days!
This time you may submit your songs in the comments because, you gotta explain things. Good thing it isn't me! Welp, good luck! Also have fun! I don't know how you'll have fun but make sure you do! Fun is important.

The message: The song is dedicated to Louis Tomlinson's late mother, who passed away from leukemia in December 2016 at the age of 43. The song honors her memory and describes the impact her death had on him.
this is a song about being suicidal and self-harming and basically the singer is telling people to remember things that are good and to stay away from those thoughts and it always makes my heart hurt so here you go!
This song deals with the pain that can be felt when you are cheated on by a person you love, but I think that this song is an amazing example about how a performance can add an extra layer of emotion and meaning above the lyrics and tune. The pain that is felt through the riffs and breaks in Yebba's voice show the pain that she is feeling more than the lyrics and music itself could ever do.
It seems like it is reaching out to those who think about committing suicide:
"When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on." It is preaching the fact that there is always someone to look out for you, you just may not know it. "When your day is night alone" This is enforcing the suicide issue. Basically, when you are that down, your days will be full of your own dark sorrow and it will seem that it is all night.
This is a vent song. Phil Collins, shortly before the song was written, had a divorce, and the moment severely affected him. This song isn't traditionally about divorce so much as it is about the horrible emotions Collins experienced surrounding the event; the sparse production, the pounding of the drum machines, it all points to a very bleak picture of a very unhappy man. Even the most famous lyrics "If you told me you were drowning/I would not lend a hand" are not about drowning; they're a hypothetical situation created by his deeply unhappy subconscious. It's not a happy song with a happy ending, but it doesn't have to be.

This song was dedicated to Billie's father who passed from cancer and about the pain that people feel when a loved one passes away and the after effects. The innocent that never lasts is life will always take someone you loved at any moment and nothing can change that. As my memory rests is trying to forget all about what happened and move on but, it's never easy with the sad truth being some people can't handle it .
this song is about the drummer of p!atd's struggle with alcohol/drug addiction, along with the singer's struggle to try and help his friend. it focuses on the singer's anger, directed at both his bandmate and himself for being unable to help.
