Victoria Everett is a typical 15 year old girl in 2050. Her biggest concerns are new cars and the latest trends. Untill, that is, the government announces that the world is heating and the only way to save the human race is to select people to be locked away untill the earth is habitable again. Victoria is one of the lucky chosen, along with her best friend, Stephanie, her crush, Jacob. She soon meets many other chosen people, Kara, a girl with a troubled past looking for a new future, Angelica, a young girl who isn't ready to move on and Reynold, the oldest of the areas chosen and a leader figure amongst them. When they finally step into the cryo-pods, they emerge to a changed earth, scarred with remnants of human civilization and crawling with more evolved wildlife. Victoria has seen a lot, but this is a whole new adventure.
