Ranking People In South Pacific Dec 16, 2011
I'm bored so I thought I'd rank everyone in South Pacific, which is spectacularly one of the worst seasons to date, if not the absolute worst. This is strictly my opinion and just for fun.

18. Albert: He's just cocky. He keeps talking about making these big strategic moves and says he's a better strategist than everyone but he doesn't do crap. He's just a pathetic player.

17. Mikayla: She did nothing. The editing made her look good as the Brandon victim but in actuality she was useless. Also, I heard she was actually an obnoxious person.

16. Ozzy: Unbelievably overrated. He's the same douche he was in Micronesia but they're hiding it in the editing. He's living proof that Redemption Island was made specifically for producer's favorites like him; so that Ozzy can get a free ticket to the finals. It's the only reason Ozzy is still here.

15. Coach: This is just painful. I don't know if Coach actually decided to take the game seriously or if Coach was still himself and the editors just decided to bury the real Coach so that he would be taken seriously but either way, it's just a crime. Obviously Survivor is no longer meant to be an entertaining television show and is only meant to be about a game. If we ever have to see Coach a fourth time, I better get Tocantins/HvV Coach.

14. Keith: He has the personality of paste. I couldn't tell you anything about him if I tried other than that he seems to be remarkably tall.

13. Whitney: Like Keith, she was mostly boring, plus there was the whole scandal where she cheated on her husband (who she said was her boyfriend in Ponderosa) with Keith. She gets a small boost because there's the slightest twinge of personality in her last couple episodes.

12. Sophie: She's probably the best hope of a newbie winning the game. And even though I would rather have a newbie win than Ozzy or Coach, I still wouldn't be happy with Sophie winning. Sure, she's smart and strong so her winning would be understandable but she's just a boring strategy bot. Some say she's snarky but I just don't see it.

11. Semhar: What in the world was she doing out there? Based on her melodramatic reaction, she clearly had no idea what she was doing out here or how the game of Survivor worked. She gets this high because her poems cracked me up. And it's also a testament to how bad this season is.

10. Edna: I had mixed feelings of sympathy and irritation with her. She tried to shake things up in the last moment and worked so hard but she kind of brought it upon herself. She knew she was on the bottom ever since Brandon told her well before the merge and never did anything about it until it was too late.

9. Elyse: Hot but boring and unmemorable. I don't legitimately have anything bad to say about her but nothing that good either. Her being ranked this high is yet another testament to the awfulness that was this season.

8. Mark: I actually kind of liked him while he was here but sadly he didn't last long enough to make an impact. But I did love the clip where he just randomly start sprinting into the forest.

7. Dawn: Just the likable old lady, kind of like a more genuine version of Jane Bright. I don't have anything bad to say about her, I just don't think she was as amazing as other viewers made she out to be. I also find it hilarious that many people actually thought she had a chance of winning.

6. Brandon: He was my number one pre-merge. It was just so enjoyable for me to see him contradict himself and trainwreck over and over. Sadly, he flatlined once the merge came and became boring and eventually a bit irritating. He returned to the premerge part of himself that was hilarious to watch in his boot episode but even so, the damage was already done.

5. Stacey: She should have stayed, she would have helped this season so much. She showed so much personality in her last couple episodes and it was hilarious when she outright denied Coach's hug and called him on his BS. Had she lasted longer, she could have been a fantastic character.

4. Christine: At the start, she looked like she could have stirred this season up and gotten it on the right foot. Unfortunately, Coach somehow got followers and voted Christine off. I was hoping she'd come back from Redemption Island but when I saw how little focus she was getting, I realized the horrible truth. And then Ozzy gets the brilliant idea to vote himself off and take Christine out when she would have been on his side (Granted he didn't know that for sure but still...).

3. Cochran: Cochran gets a lot of hate for his gameplay, especially since it involved betraying fan favorite Ozzy. And in all fairness, I can't really defend Cochran's gameplay since he got screwed and didn't do much pre-merge either. But you know what? I don't care about him as a player, I care about him as a character. And as a character, he provided me with some great entertainment. My personal favorite moment is when he called Ozzy a whiny bitch. He doesn't get higher than #3 because he acted cocky in some moments which I can forgive when I look at the rest of the cast.

2. Jim: Jim was a bit cocky too and even a bit mean but looking back, he had something a lot of the cast lacks and that's personality. Even if he wasn't the most likable to the general public, I still enjoyed his snarkiness, bluntness and wit every time he popped up on screen. It's a real shame he didn't last longer but I'm eager to hear what he has to say on the jury.

1. Rick - No, this is not a joke. Before I get negged by the entire community, just hear me out. If you were just barely or casually paying attention to this season, you will only remember Coach, Ozzy, Brandon and Cochran. Pity for you. But you have to actually watch to see and remember Rick. He is an UTR god. He has quite a number of moments that still make me laugh. To list a few:
-"What's the most annoying thing about Albert?" "He snores"
-Rick drops a piece of meat in the meat eating challenge and actually leaves it for someone else to pick up
-Rick's initial reaction to getting votes at the first merge TC
-Rick's cheer when he did well in a challenge
-Rick randomly grabbing his wife's ass
-Rick calling Albert a princess (although that one might have been more funny because it was toward a person I hated)
Plus, if you think about it, his edit is perfect for his character. I mean, he's the cowboy! The best cowboys are the quiet ones (at least as far as I know)! Sadly, he's the only one left who I can say has no chance of winning whatsoever but at least we got him for the whole season. Seriously, look back and watch for him, that is, if you can stomach the rest of the season.

You Know A Survivor Season Is Bad When... Dec 8, 2011
You can easily predict each boot for every single Tribal Council.

One tribe gets Pagonged in the merge.

One character is glorified in the editing as a super obvious winner.

Veterans are brought back to dominate sheep-like noobies.

It is used solely to give $1,000,000 to the producers' favorites.

There are no reward challenges.

The gimmicky twist fails miserably.

An over-the-top religious character is blatantly used to make Christians look bad and to make viewers potentially uncomfortable.

Probst gets more involved in the game than absolutely necessary.

The debatable highlight of the entire season is Rick groping his wife's ass.

Coach >:( Dec 1, 2011
I refuse to acknowledge the existence of a seaosn where the editors make us take Coach seriously as a player. It's blasphemy.

Hahaha.... Nov 27, 2011
Don't you just hate it when you figure out who the final three is going to be unless you do something about it, then you try to get other people to vote them off in order to change up the game but not enough people do it, then you get voted off and then everyone else you tried to convince follows, leaving the final three alliance you saw coming from a mile away and tried to warn people about?

That's already happened to me like three times XD

First Blog :D Nov 25, 2011
So I've only been on Tengaged for three days so I thought I'd try writing a quick blog. =D

So anyway, the biggest problem is obviously inactives. Everytime there are inactives, we have to wait for the full timer and even once the timer is up, it freezes. My first F3 was only because 10 ppl were inactive and that game took at least 2-3 hours in comparison to the others which only took 1. =/

Also not particularly happy that F3 has to wait 12 hours before they can play another game. Yet if you lose before then you can jump into another game once the F3 is determined. =/?

Other than that, having a good time so far. Already made some friendships which will hopefully flourish. It's kind of exciting to actually be part of a game I'm used to observing on TV. It's satisfying to be part of an alliance that gets to the end and I even get a thrill when I am suddenly outwitted and blindsided. This site is helping me develop an even greater fascination with the games I already love. Hope I can rack up $T and karma quickly so I can take a shot at the other games. Laters! ;)
