Here I am! We did it, We made final 3. I’m exhausted and i’m telling myself I’ll never play Stars again… But we know that’s probably a lie. We’re 1 step away from claiming my first stars win. The only thing thats standing in my way is two other incredible finalists. My goal with this vlog is just to lay out my game, nom set by nom set and let you decide if I played the game enough to win.
I entered this game with 2 people. Nicksinsane and rellizuraddixon. When I started playing tengaged more than 10 years ago, Rell was one of my first ride or dies. We played many rookies together and took down many finals. Nicksinsane is actually an IRL friend of mine. He was my next door neighbor when I was 10 and we’ve been friends ever since. He even stood at my wedding. A little more than a week ago I finally got these 2 to join a rookies game with me where we took 1st 2nd and 3rd. We then decided right there that we would join stars the following day.
Thats what we did.
The overall goal was for me and nick to stick together because anyone who looked thru nicks game history would see that we play most games together, and we would have rell play the other side of the house. As long as we did that and dwindled the numbers down, the 3 of us voting together would always be the swing vote.
So for 16th, Workbitch and pav were up. Basically what happened was, Allthat got banned right away and pav volunteered to go up against them. No one wanted pav to get the easy poll so we instead put him up against his frat leader. It was a 50/50, pav went home. Sucks to suck.
15th, Joe and bruno went up. Everyone was just trying to get out the rawr frat because we were worried about them working together. 2 things happened this DC, Me, nick, and rell were called out as a premade which we denied, and nick and I started working with stolen and country.
This also starts a long tale of trying to keep joe from freaking out at every nom set and telling everyone everything.
14th, was the set that me, nick, country, and stolen wanted to get sarah out. But the other side of the house wanted country and stolen. During this DC rell, nick and i jumped into a call where rell said “you see whats happening, they’re putting up pairs. You and nick need to figure out what you’re going to do.” country and stolen went up and stolen went out.
13th was when I was first mentioned for a nom. It started as Baron/nick but eventually turned into baron/rell. I thought I was dead to rights here. But I ended up reaching out to workbitch who was the first one to throw my name out there. We realized that colter was lying to them and this was the perfect time to fix my situation. I told rell we needed to get him and colter up because worst case scenario was that 2 of us went up together. Rell said ok. Colter caught wind of what was happening and ended up burying his own game by trying to get everyone to flip on everyone.. You were a really cool dude colter, We just got caught up on other sides of the house. And I know you woke up at 6am
12th Nick and I were a set early on in this DC. but I got work to flip again and get sarah and jonsnow. The fact that we had to fight to get sarah up was absolutely disgusting. People were protecting sarah because they could beat her in the end or beat her for a poll. This whole DC was a fucking mess. I loved jon and hadnt lied to jon up to this point. He was upset that he was getting put up so i split my set even tho i know jon and sarah were going up and he was getting a free poll. But seriously. Fuck sarah.
11th was heartbreaking. We had pushed for Jew/thumper almost all game. We knew they were both big popularity threats and we had all the votes to do it as long as we had rell. Nick and I told rell excitedly that we had the votes and he said he was nomming work/ country. This was infuriating because it felt like we missed our shot. Country and work went up and work went home
10th was tough. It was another baron/nick set. Country thought we turned our backs on him, and work publicly announced that he was nomming us. I ended up reaching out to work again and making them realize that pekka was lying like crazy. We ended up getting work to announce they were locking jew thumper making them the swing vote. Crazy enough we had pekka admitting to also throwing this vote at jew thumper… but wether they did or didn’t was irrelevant. We had the votes. So when pekka said they were showing me “loyalty” I knew they were lying.
8th place is when I went up. The other side was trying to get me and nick up. We were trying to get pekka and jon up. Rell ended up splitting the vote to ensure that i didn’t go up with nick and i went up with pekka instead. This was the nom set that we were trying to plan for the end game nick and i reached out to joe to see if he wanted to do a final 3. The plan was we would lie to him and tell him that nick was still talking to rell and we could get rell to prove his loyalty to us by voting with us so that we would have 4v3 going into the next set. Joe was not interested and instead wanted to work with jon. This failed. Jon leaked our chat to pekka. Pekka called me claiming i said things but clearly didn’t know the whole story. Like i said, rell split the vote. Pekka and i go up
7th was crazy. I had a nice vlog filmed but pekka decided to call me boring. Im not boring, im just not over dramatic. Theres a difference. Pekka said to lauren that going to the fair cant be a personality trait, well, yelling and talking tough cant be one either. This is where country nick and i realized joe was a crazy liability. Remember that plan we were going to do with joe? Country was our guy. We pulled country in. told him we’re testing rell knowing that we had the votes. Once this went down the plan was to keep nomming the survivors until we were down to me, rell, and nick, with whoever was the 4th.
Look. It was a wild ride. Did I play perfectly? No. Am I the well liked on this site? Maybe. Do I think out of the three finalist I played the best game? Without a doubt. I knew every set that was going up with the exception of 2. Rell and I played “we hate eachother” so well that it killed the premade thing. When my nick was thrown up for nom set, It was impossible for it to stick. All three of the finalist deserve to be here. Nick played the most straight forward, clean game. Lauren is obviously a crowd favorite. But I played every single DC down to the last second.
