Need To Address This.

May 3, 2014 by AshlynArehart
I never said for a second I was on welfare or I needed benefits. That's not needed for me. Sure I don't bring home the BIG MONEY all the time, but I make ends with what I have.

Sure I may not have been ready in the beginning. I will not deny that at all. But there is no need for people to go at it the way M4tt did.

I agree as well that people shouldn't abuse that ability to get on welfare. So because I am a young mom, I automatically fit that description?

I think I do pretty well for myself, and I can honestly say I am very proud to have even made it this far without asking for help.

As long as you're raising your children in the best way possible regarding your financial situation then that's all that matters.

No matter my kids know I love them more than anything. We're not the richest in our hometown, but we show enough love for one another.

AshlynAreHart that is good! As long as children are raised to become respectful and moral young adults then I don't have a problem with a parent's/s' financial situation, same with regards to single parents and step parents etc

Have you filtered him?? XD

I don't know what the truth is, but honestly, I shouldn't know. It's not my business.
But you should not be justifying yourself here. You are aware that he's getting mass negged because people here know that he's just using the same, impersonal argument towards you.

So if you truly believe that you are in the right, why continue to blog about it?
Your kids are your kids and I'm sure they're wonderful. I'm sure you're a great mum.
But it really is not my business to know this stuff.

The more you give here, the more ammunition you give for people to hurt you.

I couldn't agree more with that response. My two children (plus my boyfriend's son) will learn respect and will learn how to treat others better than how today's society does. I just hope they never have to deal with this stuff.

I understand that. But I feel I have a right to defend myself in this case. When people want to make assumptions, then that's when I get mad. When I see more than one person talk about it, then that makes me more agitated.

I shouldn't have went on about it and ignored it, but I just can't stand being trashed anymore.

If that makes any sense.
