I've had many brands over the years: Acer, HP, Dell, Lenovo and MacBook. MacBook was by far the best. HP was 2nd best, but a far second tbh and the others burned out so quickly Arris. I found buying cheap laptops was actually more expensive in the long run as they encountered so many issues so quickly. I say if you can afford it, get a MacBook 馃槉
