First I want to acknowledge two things: One, I don't think Washed_Ravioli has played worse than even 50% of the people I've played stars with. Two, I am very well aware what the perception is of nomming someone so many times. I do not expect to win.
Alright, now here's my side of this and explanation for what has happened.
I don't think in this game I was ever going to be able to compete on a popularity level. It's just flat out never been my thing in stars. I can't play the public, I'm not a threat on that level and I never will be. The one thing I know I am capable of doing is playing a strategic game to go deep into the game unnominated. Ideally, you wouldn't do that with 3 other people into the Final 6, but I played the hand I was dealt in this cast.
Do I think I would still be in without the alliance I had? Absolutely not. Had I played this any differently, we all would have been up, and I would have been out a long time ago. I fully recognize and concede that Washed_Ravioli will likely win this game and I'm not going to say it's undeserved. But for ME personally, I was playing for either 2nd or 7th in the scenarios I found myself in. So I chose to play for the better placement which required handing the win over to Washed.
If (when) he wins, it's not undeserved, but everyone calling everyone else stupid...maybe for a winning condition yes, but if you don't think that's feasible sometimes you have to play for the best thing you can get.
