Is it the person who joined with a tight premade of 5 or 6?
-Because truthfully after the first few votes, if they got the majority they really do not have to fight until the end.
Is it the person nominated multiple times?
Truthfully, I think it is harder keeping the public's support while being nominated multiple times. Stars is sadly more a game about the public vote than strategy (Usually).
Who is to say if BlueDragon played a bad game? So he was nominated a lot? He played it to his advantage and is probably going to win.

I've always viewed it being more about public support than about gameplay. Because the people voting only have an outside view, and can base their vote on whatever criteria they want.
I really tried to play, talk and try to protect myself but they simply already had an alliance, and they used me as a discard!
This caused me to go to the appointment several times, no one likes to be anxious for 12 hours, it's stressful
I think it all depends on the cast and what you're able to do with them. I feel like I've played a really good game but was nominated several times, but the cast all had pre-game relationships and friendships.
