For over 30 seasons, Survivor has connected with millions across the United States, from sea to shining sea. This season, Survivor will pit Region against region. 4 Tribes, each broken up by region.
The West Coasters, whose warm weather and liberal views have shaped the country and where tech companies have connected the globe. "Working for google means I work for the single most powerful enterprise in the world,"- Susan, Google Engineering Executive.
The East Coasters, whose blue collar and white collar roots have mixed in a region that has diversity in places from New York to Washington DC, and where the future of the country is formed. "Being a political lobbyist makes me one powerful man, I worked with Obama, Paul Ryan, any important leader has sat down with me."- Marcus, Political Lobbyist.
The Midwest. People who work hard for what they got and help feed America with the farmland that shape the plains of Kansas to Indiana. And a place where family matters. "Being a farmer isn't a job for me, it's a life I was born in." - Gary, Wheat Farmer.
And the South. A region stretching from the dry terrain of Texas to the waters of Florida, southerners have solid conservative views and have had many obstacles to overcome since the days of the civil rights movement. But a southern is proud of their state and heritage. "I am a Mississippi girl, we do everything with a smile and with an ice tea in our hand." - Destiny, College Graduate.
