Brief Bio*: Espen's life has quite literally been a series of unfortunate events. His life was practically perfect up until the age of 7 but it just has gone downhill from there. His parents were both murdered in front of him on his birthday for reasons he still doesn't know. The traumatized child was quickly shipped off to a nearby orphanage where he lived for the next 4 years. He quickly became friends with three mischievous boys in the orphanage and typically caused a lot of trouble with them. However, Espen became very sick in 2009 and was essentially bedridden for an entire month. Just as he was getting better, the other boys snuck out of the orphanage to investigate something and... the rest is history. His room collapsed when the wave hit but he miraculously only had a few scratches and no major injures. Though once again, those he was closest to were suddenly gone. He spent most of his adolescent years in a new orphanage and kept to himself before a kind older single woman adopted him seemingly out of nowhere when he was 16. Espen thought his fortune was finally turning around for him until once again disaster struck when the woman who adopted him fell ill and died to cancer when he was 18. Espen's life has gone without incident since then though and he works a basic office job to pay the bills. He makes active efforts to avoid getting close to people though, coming to the belief that anyone he cares about will meet an untimely demise.

This is set 10 years after the destruction of an orphanage, so your ages MUST be between 10 and 28 if you wish to be a former Ward, or you can apply as one of the staff members, first responders, etc. Completely up to you. Brief Bio*: Kevin's dad lead one of the first response teams that arrived at the orphanage. Because he wanted to be like him when he grew up, Kevin was occasionally allowed to travel with his father's crew when he didn't have school. Unfortunately, his dad wasn't the same after that day. He became hostile to the point where his parents divorced. Devastated, Kevin decided to focus his attention towards becoming a detective. Fast forward to the present day. Kevin's mere weeks into his life as a rookie detective when he comes across the case of the destroyed orphanage. Not satisfied with how it went, he decides to head there to find answers and, hopefully, some closure.

Charlie has became strong since the orphanage happenings but he feels something isnt right about what happened and also goes back to the area to investigate.
