Runway Voiceover : A gun is just as good or as bad as the person using it. And definitely I never had any complains for how much good I am with handling gun. I like them big.
Voiceover:
Did you know that a saloon girl is also called a saloon madame? well i like that name better. it fits me more. honey don't think i forgot my asian heritage! that shit popular here too!
giving you chinese saloon empress. serving you all the elements
- I want to say, I am not here to serve you the polish of my contenders. I do not want to be them, or imitate them. I want to be uniquely me, and fly or fall because of it.
Brown Cow Stunning
Stunning doesn't fit the bill, honey. Monique was a highly conceptual queen, with a personality that can only be described as infectious in the gayest of manner. I made this outfit piece by piece, adding my own style and I don't think I lost myself at all while serving you something different from the rest. SHABAM! CRAFTY QUEEN!
Denim Couture
I feel more stunning than I have ever felt. This outfit was made piece by piece, literally out of small circles of denim. I took this opportunity to try and show some versatility, without losing my individual style. This is expression of fashion, sexuality and my inspirations behind drag. (Done right, this time)
This look is about pride to me. I tried bringing the elements of the Western Saloon girl and bringing it to life in a modern expression. This is about pride, and breaking archetypes of time and gender. Even then, many queer people had this occupation. I wonder what they'd have looked like if the times were a little different?
