The First Hunger Games - Irellia Mareaux of District 1 (Kgunzrok)

Story:
Irellia came into the Games with a single goal in mind: Victory. She drew first blood in the Bloodbath, and became the first killer of the Games.

Her first true day in the Arena, she stole food from Urchid and Athena, and would later return to fight them, however the pair would retreat south towards the Oasis. She eventually found them again, killing Urchid. Nearby, Nathan aligned with her, and the two set off to find Athena, who had fled the battle.

They came across and killed young Callie of District 9, before being attacked themselves by Connor of District 6. His sneak attack left Irellia without the use of one leg, and therefore useless in the fight. He allowed the two to escape, though neither realized the pack they have lifted off of Callie's corpse had been stolen by the nearby Luciya.

While healing up at the Cornucopia, Irellia came across a device which could be used to blow up the oasis. Unknowingly, her first Victim was her District partner, Silos. Afraid after the explosion, she tossed it into the Cornucopia, and the pair left the area.

Coming across District 2's Aurora after the blast, Irellia quickly slit the girl's throat, though she didn't put up much of a fight.

The following day, the Tributes received gifts and sponsorships. Irellia used the rope she was given to create a rope-knife hybrid weapon.

The next morning, Irellia worked up the courage to press the remaining buttons before the Finale could begin, blowing up each and every oasis and all who were near them. James, Kasumi, and Athena would all die as a result of her actions. Hearing the cannons, Luciya launched from her hiding place, attacking the pair, however Irellia quickly killed her, though she lost her rope weapon in the process to Luciya's double-bladed spear.

Nathan, who had hid and watched the fight, came out of hiding. Both Tributes waited until the other was ready, determined to let it be an even fight. During the course of their final battle, Nathan managed to injure Irellia's leg with his knife after his tomahawk was thrown away from him. Gripping the knife herself, Irellia stabbed him four times over the next few moves, hitting both of his arms and legs. Rather than letting him bleed out, she placed the blade against his neck and ended his suffering.

The Second Hunger Games - Travis Hobbs of District 11 (Allyxox)

Story:
Travis' first action after fleeing the Bloodbath was to head south, moving away from the majority of Tributes and going into hiding. He didn't do anything else for the rest of the day, aside from watching a small skirmish between 3 Tributes.

On Day 2 Travis went to the Cornucopia, where he attempted to talk to the young District 7 Tribute, Chyrl, but ended up having to take the boy's life when he simply attacked, planting an arrow in his forehead.

The following day Travis came across Tedward and tried to align with the boy, however Tedward fled the first chance he got, leaving Travis behind.

The next day, after the Crater had exploded, sending a giant cloud of radiation into the sky, Travis hid in the Cornucopia, and was soon joined by Sonny and Tedward, who were fleeing both the blast and the enraged animals who had been affected. When a pack of dogs moved in, Sonny and Tedward took off running, while Travis climbed up onto the Cornucopia, begging them to stay with him. In the end, Travis watched the carnage as the crazed animals fell on one another, killing each other until none remained.

After they had finished destroying each other, Travis spotted the 5-man alliance moving in, and fled the Cornucopia area, leaving the death and destruction to them.

Coming back to the Cornucopia the next day, Travis found a normal dog, having escaped the radioactive blast. After feeding it some of his supplies, Travis noticed the other 3-man alliance moving in, and fled, the dog following him into the forest. The Alliance gave chase, however lost him in the trees, though Viradie came within a few feet of him and the dog when they hid in some bushes.

Later that day, Travis was shocked to hear 4 cannons go off back-to-back, signifying the end of a huge battle that had taken place up north.

While searching around the Arena before the Feast the next day, Travis came across the fight between Tedward and Viradie. Using his arrow, he killed the Tribute close by whom Tedward had saved mere moments before, ending Pearl's life without her ever knowing.

Rushing to the Feast right afterwards, he had no idea his distraction gave Viradie the chance to kill Tedward and rush to the Feast right behind him. Together with Echo, the three Tributes grabbed the loot and fled, not even fighting one another.

Later that afternoon, Travis hunted unsuccessfully for the other Tributes, not knowing about the Tower in the North, nor being able to find Viradie once she hid in the woods.

The next day, during the Finale, Travis watched as a flock of birds descended on the Arena, first hitting the woods where Viradie slept, then going after the boys hiding in the Tower, leaving only Travis and his dog alive.

Gripping his scruff thankfully, Travis waited on the Hovercraft to take them both back to the Capitol, where the dog, now named Frostie, was given the status as an 'Honorary Victor.'

The Third Hunger Games - Kendall Meyers of District 5 (Flamey9999)

Story:
Kendall fled the Bloodbath right off the bat, not caring about the riches it held, only about escaping before she was killed. She noticed another Tribute running in the same direction as she was, and so took shelter in the western wooded area, away from the open plains that the other Tributes preferred.

Staying in the woods on the second Day, Kendall saw no one, and did nothing in order to keep herself unnoticed as a few Tributes skirted through the woods.

On the third Day, Kendall finally left the woods, coming to the high-grass portion of the plains in the south. While there, she spotted the encampment of Soya Filbert and Elodie Sauvage, skirting around it. The next Tribute she ran into was JJ of District 11, Soya's partner. Hiding in the tall grass, she didn't even breathe as the boy walked less than a foot away from her.

Shortly thereafter, after a breakdown, she was the first Tribute to notice the oncoming storm, feeling a few drops of rain on her face.

She would watch in shock as the flowing rivers in the east filled up and washed away everything and everyone nearby, the mountains fell apart under the torrent, releasing many large boulders out into the plains, crushing those who tried to flee, and then all of this entropy leading the southern regions to fall apart, entire strips of land vanishing with trees, earth, and Tributes falling into the crumbling mass.

After all of the Cannons had fired for the Day, Kendall was not the only one in shock after these events, falling to her knees and crying in sorrow for those who had been killed mercilessly by the Gamemakers.

The next morning, while hiding near the stream in the western woods, Kendall hid in silence as Elodie washed herself of blood and gore. The Career eventually heard Kendall, but, unable to locate her, left the woods, headed for the Cornucopia.

Later that day, hearing Soya blow up the Cornucopia, Kendall resided herself to the fact she may have to fight, pulling a large stone out of the ground and swinging it around.

The next morning, Kendall moved to the south, where she was found by Octavia. Together the two of them made a pact to kill Elodie/Soya and make it to the Finale.

Heading up to the Cornucopia for the Feast, the two girls are astonished when they see Elodie and Soya in a fight to the death, one which neither one looks like they are winning. In the end, Elodie stabbed her knife into Soya's eye, only to then be attacked by Octavia while Kendall watched in horror. Easily gaining the upperhand, Elodie prepared to kill Octavia with one final blow, only to be hit from behind by Kendall's rock smack against her head. Pretty much ignoring her, Elodie was then killed when Kendall continued smashing the rock into Elodie's skull, until the cannon finally sounded.

Afterwards, Octavia had to comfort the young child because of what she had done, but both were hopeful about being 2 of the only 3 left.

The next morning, the girls had to flee the Cornucopia thanks to an ash cloud, running smack dab into JJ. The final battle was quick, JJ easily overwhelmed by the two to one odds, however only one could win. Unable to kill her, Octavia told Kendall to end it, and go home.

And thus, with a final swing of a sword, Kendall became the Third Victor of the Hunger Games.

The Fourth Hunger Games - X (FireX)

Story:
X started out his Games grabbing a spear and running from the Bloodbath. His ferociousness in Training, however, led to his being sponsored right off the bat with a set of Throwing Knives. This first Sponsorship set the stage for those Games.

After moving about for a bit the next morning, X received his second gift, a loaf of bread to eat. Thanking the Capitol, he quickly ate his fill before moving on.

A few hours later, he found and killed his own District Partner, one of the only Tributes to do so in the history of the Games, by spearing Taryn through the side of the throat and letting her bleed out.

That night, he swam over to the Cornucopia island, finding the young Yoshi sleeping in the trees nearby. Trapping him under a net, X began spearing the lad to death, the young boy waking up only able to scream for help. He then went back to the Cornucopia, cleaning the blood from his weapon as the anthem played in the night sky.

His next sponsor item came in the morning, a fresh canteen full of water that he drank greedily, eating what was left of his food as well before moving on.

Meeting Siren somewhere near the Cornucopia, the two make a pact not to kill one another before separating. Nearby, X found Lauren asleep, attacking her so that she could not escape, waking her, before stabbing her through the throat so that his spear lodged in the tree behind the girl.

Later that afternoon, X, Siren, and Claudia met on the Cornucopia beach as all three Tributes watched the Northernmost Island literally self-destruct, the land becoming a blazing inferno as the volcano chain that made up the islands fell apart, killing numerous Tributes on the Island.

Volunteering for first watch, X was given another sponsor item, a bag of dynamite, his mind immediately turning against his allies.

That morning, X attempted to kill Siren and Claudia with the Dynamite and run, only to be stopped by Siren, who then engaged him in one of the toughest battles of his Games. Almost killing him, the pair of them were shot into the trees when the dynamite blew, killing Claudia and causing Siren and X to loose a vast majority of their supplies, including X's spear which had been in Claudia's leg.

With no alternative, X had to flee from Siren, barely escaping as her tomahawk flew through the air where he had just been standing.

His next sponsor item, no surprise, a bag of medicine. Applying it, he managed to survive his injuries.

Using the throwing knives, he then found and killed Cassandra after waking the girl from her sleep.

His next sponsorship sealed the fate of his allies, a full-body suit, and a longsword. The next morning a bow and arrows would be added to this arsenal from the Capitol.

He would then head to the Cornucopia, hiding in a tree, from which he would shoot the young Trick Smith when the boy attempted to plant dynamite around the Cornucopia.

Once the Feast began a few minutes later, X had no time to climb down from his tree as Chanel grabbed not only her own pack but his as well, running into the trees.

He did manage to grab Damian and Trick's bags, however, finding a scythe in Trick's and a vial of poison in Damian's, though he cannot identify that the vial is in fact deadly.

Jeering at the others, X began a rant, walking around the Cornucopia area and shouting about his lost bag to all those around, which just so happened to be all four of the remaining Tributes besides him.

Raymond was the first to attempt an attack, only to get shot in the leg by X's bow. After a brief fight in which Raymond mistakingly goes for X's body instead of his head, thus only hitting the body suit, X split Raymond from shoulder to hip with his longsword.

After Damian's death due to the island spinning, all that remained were Sadafumi, Chanel, and X. Sadafumi and Chanel chased after the boy, running into the woods. Sadafumi tossed his weapon, useless against the body armor, and thus X turned on him quickly, killing him. Then Chanel's arrows rained down on him, also hitting only his body armor, and the boy stabbed her through the gut with his sword.

The Fifth Hunger Games - Flora Occiderre (THEChanelOberlin)

Story:
Within minutes of the Bloodbath starting, Flora had already stabbed the young Elena in the back repeatedly, before fleeing with the full Career Pack of District 1 and 2. District 2, however, quickly returned to the Cornucopia, leaving the District 1 Tributes to move about on their own.

Shortly thereafter, the pair come across the District 7 Tributes, pinned down by Kay and her bow, though Flora quickly ends her life with a knife to the face from several feet away.

They attempt to align with 7, however the two Tributes take off the first chance they get.

The next day, both Tributes from 1 had to flee from the area as some sort of serpent mutt chased them, its huge body making the grass wave as they ran.

The next stop led them to their next kill, finding the young Tribute Nutty next to a water source. Flora stabbed him in the side quickly, moving away so Constince could finish the job.

Moving south, the pair come across the fight of Y and Obsidian of District 2 verses Silas of 3. Watching as Obsidian and Silas both receive injuries, Flora and Constince move in to betray their allies, Flora killing Obsidian with her throwing knives while Constince's axe misses its mark, allowing Y to escape.

Flora received her first sponsor that morning, a packet of bandages. Moving south, they find the far edge of the arena, following the river, before heading to the Cornucopia as the sounds of some sort of cracking can be heard coming from the mountains in the north.

As Flora grabs a bow left behind at the Cornucopia, she senses that something just isn't right and hides inside. And then the mountaintop explodes in a volcanic eruption.

Tributes everywhere flee, revealing that more than half of the living were camped out in and around the Cornucopia. Landon rushes into the Cornucopia right behind Constince, and together with Flora the three Tributes strike up some sort of accord.

Troy, hiding in the trees near the Cornucopia, begins assailing Flora, Constince, and Landon with spears, having limited success before fleeing.

The next morning, as the ash stops descending, Flora receives a can of mace as a sponsor item, before the group heads out in search of Tributes.

The Alliance spots Max and tries to chase him down, but the boy has been in this area far too long and easily looses the deadly pack.

Returning to the Cornucopia, the group is assailed once more when Troy is spotted in the trees. After a quick fight, Flora's knife distracts the boy long enough for Landon to move in and kill him. Then they hear the shrieking.

A group of what can only be described as the undead victims of all three Tributes draws forward, intent on killing them, which launches the group into a frenzy as they have to re-kill said Tributes. Once the struggle is finished, Flora appears to have suffered the worst of it.

As an acidic rain falls down thanks to the ash cloud from the volcano, Flora heads to the river to wash her injuries, finding out that the water is actually helping her heal now that the acid is in it, clotting up her injuries.

After searching for more victims, and loosing both Keighley and Anna in the forest, Flora and Co. stop for the night.

During the Feast the next day, Flora grabbed her supplies before chasing after Keighley. After loosing the girl, she returned to the Feast and attempted to kill Viktor, only to have Keighley use her whip to try and steal the kill.

After Viktor made short work of his new enemy, Flora dragged him under the table, stabbing him to death with her knives.

That afternoon, after the Feast, all of the living Tributes met up north, and a huge battle took place. Flora's first real action was to kick Constince down the slope and into the fray. After using Keighley's whip to disarm Constince of his own, Flora released the contents of her mace, aiming at the Tributes down below and hitting Landon square in the face, before launching her dynamite down and fleeing.

After the fighting ended, Flora attempted to chase after Constince, with no success.

The next day, all four Remaining Tributes met for the last time. Seeing Constince distracted by the fight between Max and Landon, Flora used both bladed whips to wrap around the boy, and decapitate him.

Then, after Landon killed Max, he turned around as Flora's tomahawk landed in his head, ending both the boy, and the Games.

The Sixth Hunger Games - Piner Linkman (bigdizzleyomama)

Story:
Piner fled the Bloodbath only after seeing his partner, Briar, doing the same, not attacking anyone. Heading into unoccupied areas, he hid himself away from the others.

Finding a small stream, he began fishing for some food with limited success thanks to some of the supplies he had grabbed. He then proceeded to build a small hut out of the jungle's lush trees, and rested for the night.

The next morning, after heading up the slopes and out of the valley region, Piner triggered an avalanche in order to hit the District 4 Tributes behind him, injuring Zax in the process before fleeing.

Coming across Briar a few hours later, the two 7 Tributes align. After checking out each other's supplies, they head back to Piner's hut, only to find that others have been there, footprints in the wet area near the stream.

The District 4 Tributes return at this moment, attacking and injuring Briar before they can respond. Piner, enraged, moves in while Briar offers some cover by tossing her knives. Vyra, grinning, just watched as the two Tributes killed her District partner, not offering any assistance. Once Zax died, she aligned with the two 7 Tributes.

Seconds later, Trinity struck, hitting Briar in the back with her poisoned axe. After a brief and somewhat bloody struggle, Piner and Vyra eliminated Trinity, stabbing and beating the young girl to death. Using her medikit, Vyra stopped the spread of the poison, saving Briar's life.

The next morning, hearing an explosion, the group heads northward towards the noise. Unfortunately, they come into the path of a huge cat mutt that had been the target of said explosion, and an intense, bloody battle took place.

Vyra was almost immediately at the cat's mercy, clawed underneath the thing as it attempted to bite down on her, the spear in her hands the only defense from its razor sharp teeth.

Piner, moving in to help, received a large scratch to his chest and stomach, having to back off. All three Tributes were saved when Alexander, who had enraged the thing in the first place, rushed forward, stabbing it from behind in the ear.

With the cat dying, the Tributes actually attack, but Alexander flees, expecting them to be ungrateful. When Vyra and Piner tried to follow him, the sound of a thunk made them turn around to see an arrow sprouting out of Briar's chest. Hiding, the two were then nearly hit by a barrage of arrows. Vyra attempted to move closer, only to have one hit her as well.

After the shooter, Bethhie, ran out of arrows, she fled. Seeing that it was over, Piner rushed over to try and help Briar, but to no avail as the girl died moments before. Enraged, Piner turned on Vyra, killing her.

That night, Piner finally left the area, heading towards the Cornucopia as the hovercraft picked up his dead allies.

Using the toxic sap of a berry, Piner coated his two remaining blowdarts in preparation for the fight to come. At the Cornucopia, he witnessed Bethhie stabbing Max from behind before fleeing, leaving him injured. Both tributes then received blowdarts to the neck, before Piner fled the area.

Having angered her, Piner was then attacked by Bethhie, though the poison was already working its way through her system. After removing her knife from his leg as the girl tried to flee, Piner launched it through the air, hitting her in the back and killing her.

Rushing to the Cornucopia on his bad leg, Piner, Max, and Shantae begin the final battle as Alexander is killed by the Gamemakers in the south.

After a brief struggle between the two boys, Max got away during some sort of interlude, and slit his ally's throat, killing Shantae much to Piner's shock.

Max and Piner, resuming their fight, greatly injured one another, but the poison now affected Max to the point he was doomed. After getting him onto the ground, Piner proceeded to chop Max into small pieces, not even stopping once the final cannon fired off in the background.

The Seventh Hunger Games - Evelyn Grainer of District 9 (Purplebb4)

Story:
Evelyn started off her Games in the most iconic way possible for a District 9 Tribute: With a Scythe. Attacking someone right out of the gate, she would not kill him, however her fellow District 9 Tribute Aoi would after the Bloodbath.

Moving away from the majority of the Tributes, Evelyn found Diamond of District 1, and Stephanie of District 7. Helping the latter, Evelyn attacked Diamond, and after an accident involving Stephanie falling into the hedge maze and allowing a huge group of Snakes to escape into the corridor, the pair fled, leaving Diamond to die to the horde.

The next morning, both girls received sponsor items. Evelyn was given a medikit, Stephanie an axe and poison.

Drawing closer to the Cornucopia after the early morning cannon, both girls then witness the craziest hour besides the Bloodbath as a multitude of Tributes come together for what may have been a second Bloodbath.

Amie, searching for stuff at the Cornucopia, had to flee as Maxwell and DK approached, effectively taking over the Cornucopia. As they conversed, the girls started to leave, only to stop as they see another Tribute approach the pair, Evelyn's partner Aoi.

The boy, looking to align, was quickly attacked by DK while Maxwell watched from the sidelines, however as soon as the boy drew his bow, they knew they were screwed.

After seeing DK get hit in the throat, Evelyn and Stephanie took off, worried that they might be discovered. After going a short distance into the maze, they are surprised to hear an explosion, followed by two cannons. Rushing back, they see the District 4 Tribute, Juan, standing alone near the Corn, two charred bodies laying nearby.

Moving in, the pair decide to kill Juan, only to be surprised when they see Caiman from 3 charging in as well. Splitting up, Evelyn tackles Caiman, rolling over with the boy, only to have him slash his sword across her chest and lower neck. After killing Juan, Stephanie moved in to help, only to be hurt herself, and finally Evelyn rolled over, planting the blade of her scythe squarely in his face.

As the pair attempted to flee, Amie launched a spear from behind, hitting Evelyn as the girls fled into the maze, hefting a medikit.

Using it, Evelyn heals her spear injury, seeing that the neck wound is mostly to the chest and too low to have gotten her veins. Using the last of it to heal Stephanie's stomach wound, the girls head further into the maze to hide.

Being attacked by Dan shortly thereafter, Evelyn protected Stephanie, killing the boy with her Sickle.

Later that day, hearing screams and cannons, Evelyn moves towards the Cornucopia, intent on killing whoever remains. Seeing Aaron about to kill Aoi, she moves in as the cannon sounds, hitting him from behind with her sickle. After a short fight in which Aaron attempted to blind her with some poisoned fruit, she tossed her can of gasoline on him, covering him and his flamethrower, and then threw a match onto the ground under him, lighting him ablaze. His flamethrower's cannisters, once lit, blew up, killing him and throwing Evelyn off her feet.

Afterwards, she came back to the Cornucopia, falling into the trap set up by District 3's Elizza. After a brief fight, Evelyn took her life as well, cutting her throat and then planting the sickle in her chest.

Finished, Evelyn went back to her hiding place in the maze, her sickle needing only the blood of one final Tribute, her friend Stephanie. Slitting her throat with the weapon while she slept, Evelyn stepped out of the hedge, falling to the ground and crying as her victory was announced.

The Eighth Hunger Games - Annika Dreese of District 2 (dvs134)

Story:
Annika started off the Games by running from the Bloodbath, a Machette and Backpack her only spoils.

Hiding near the Cornucopia, Annika found the boy from 11, Raven, the next morning and killed him in his sleep before moving into the city. Once there, she moved from house to house through the windows, so as not to leave a trail.

While doing so, she came across Bitch of District 1, assassinating the girl from behind as she examined her area.

After moving about for a while, Annika stopped in the western portion of the city, near a fountain she had used for nourishment. Later on, she would see Wenda and Annaliese using the fountain, and decided to stay put to see if she could get at them.

Later that night, she was one of the only Tributes safe when hellhounds were released into the Arena, watching as one chased the two girls away.

The next morning, she tracked them to another house and, once they had left, set up a trap, waiting in the house across the road for them to return.

Instead, the District 7 Tributes showed up at the house, and after a long conversation, the group aligned with the sole intention of killing the alliance Annika had seen.

Using her tracking skills, the girl led them to the south, where Annaliese and Wenda had found a new ally, Celeste. Despite the two dead bodies laying nearby from the District 4 Tributes, the alliance eagerly rushed in, and a great battle ensued in which Annaliese, Wenda, Arbor, and Celeste all died, and Kage was gravely injured.

Aligning with the boy since he had lost his partner, the pair of Annika and Kage recovered nearby, now armed to the teeth with weapons and supplies.

The next morning, the pair moved to the Cornucopia, anxious to end it. However, when Annika received a sponsor item, it distracted them both, allowing AJ to attack the pair. After a long, bloody fight, the boy was finally brought down by Annika, though she and Kage paid dearly for it in injuries.

Hearing Hellhounds, the pair climbed onto the Cornucopia. However, before the beasts made it to the Cornucopia, the Gamemakers announced a Feast to be held in the Parthenon up north.

Moving there, the two waited for the Finale. Jacob, the only other living Tribute, eventually showed up, only to be killed easily. Realizing it was time, the pair charged forward, both delivering life-threatening injuries to each other.

In the end, though poisoned and weak, Annika managed to slash her sickle across the young boy's throat, ending his life, and the Games.

The Ninth Hunger Games - Bowser Koopa of District 6 (pikaplayer)

Story:
Bowser started off his Games grabbing supplies from the Cornucopia and fleeing almost immediately, not participating in any fights or grabbing any sort of weapon. While fleeing however, he caught and killed his first Tribute, Mia, by beating the young girl to death.

Later on in the day, the boy came across Honey of District 11, bathing in a river. After a rather awkward conversation, the pair aligned for the night. That night, his first sponsor item, a bottle of liquor, was sent to him.

The next morning, Bowser and Honey were both shocked when Penny launched her sneak attack, pulling Honey back into the bushes and choking the life out of her as Bowser attempted to stop Penny, finally chasing her off only after she'd nearly killed her prey.

Kathleen, coming up on the confrontation, assisted Bowser in chasing Penny off, apparently having aligned with him before the Games. Together, the pair of them chased Penny down, treeing her, before a massive flood swept through the area, triggered by the Tributes being centered in one area.

Fleeing the flood, Bower, Kathleen, and Honey all were caught up in the floodwaters and taken to the Cornucopia, where they either escaped by climbing a tree or slamming into the Cornucopia.

After recovering, and the floodwaters had calmed down enough, Kathleen attacked Honey, not knowing that she was an ally as Bowser shouted at her. The distraction was all Penny needed to launch her second sneak attack, attacking Kathleen.

Bowser was unable to get Kathleen away before she was seriously injured, moving away from the Cornucopia with Penny as Honey tried to get the girl to safety. Unfortunately, another tribute (Kendall) was waiting for just such an opportunity to use her grenades. Within a few seconds, Bowser lost his prey, and both of his allies all at once.

Waiting at the Cornucopia, Bowser woke up the next day to see both District 8 Tributes, including Penny, heading towards him, causing him to flee. Watching from afar, he would witness the alligator mutt attack four tributes in total, before moving towards the sound of a fight.

He watched in hiding as Penny, Vera, and Ken fought for their lives, not knowing that Matty (Vera's ally) was thinking of killing him before simply slinking away out of fear of Bowser's massive size.

After Vera killed Ken, Penny fled towards Bowser and the Cornucopia, giving him the perfect opportunity as Vera, Matty, and Penny were all focused on one another, to perform his own sneak attack, killing Vera with a literal backstab.

Moving around, he then managed to catch and finally kill Penny in revenge for all the grief she had caused him, before watching as Matty killed Luna, who had heard the fighting and moved to see what was going on. Both tributes took off, leaving behind the bodies of the dead untouched.

The next morning, a silver parachute brought Bowser the weapon he'd been waiting for, a war hammer. At the finale that day, he would use it to kill Kendall as the girl attempted to spear him, an arrow already in his chest from Matty's bow. Using her grenades, he then caught Matty unawares as the boy attempted to loot Kendall's body, killing him with the very weapon he was looking for, and thus becoming the 9th Victor of the Hunger Games.
