Welcome to the Estonian National Final of ESCT 39!
Our National Final is name – ‘Mõru-magus ekstaas’ which means ‘Bittersweet ecstasy’ which was a highlight of our entry in ESCT 38. Please welcome to the stage the Estonian entrant for Esct 38…..Jozels!
The Estonian HOD has listened to hundreds of potential entries and has decided on six songs from dedicated acts that want to represent Estonia in Georgia.
Tonight, we have six acts competing to represent Estonia. They are:
1. Elysa
2. Shira – We The Broken
3. Pur Mudd
4. Maian
5. N.O.O.B
6. Syn Cole
The pointing system will be the following. 12 points to your favourite, 10 points to your next favourite and then 8, 5, 3, 1.
Without further ado, let’s welcome our first act….ELYSA!
ELYSA is singer-songwriter, and started writing music at age 13. Elysa has represented Estonia twice in ESCT. She represented Estonia in ESCT 22 with her song ‘Silence The Sirens’ which came 7th in the grand final. She returned in ESCT 31 where he song ‘Famous’ achieved 13th in the final. She is hoping her song ‘Undercover’ will be the 3rd time lucky to take home the ESCT crown.
Shira is renowned in Estonia for her floaty, ethereal vocals. She has represented Estonia in the second chances in ESCT 37 with her song ‘Out in Space’ where she came 6th. She has teamed up with a mysterious band We The Broken to produce the song ‘Hell Do I Care’ and is hoping to represent Estonia in the main contest this time.
Púr Múdd's mission is to offer you an escape from your everyday life through their music. Busy. Hectic. Full of drama. However you'd sum up it. This the 3rd time Pur Mudd has tried to represent Estonia. Their song ‘Figures’ came 5th in the ESCT 29 National Final and ‘Get Away’ with Andreas came 3rd in the ESCT 37 national final. This time they are entering alone with their song ‘Da Da Da’

N.O.O.B are rock band based in Tallinn. This is the first time they have tried to represent Estonia in ESCT. Their song ‘Paranoia’ is a commentary on the culture of misinformation and ‘fake news’. They are hoping to spread this message in Tbilisi by winning this national final.

His song ‘It’s you’ came 3rd in the ESCT 28 National final with 70 points and ‘Getaway’ came 4th in ESCT 34 National Final with 137 points. This time he has teamed up with Sarah Close to try to finally get his ticket to the ESCT semi-final.
