Stefan came 2nd in the Estonian ESCT36 National final and later represented Estonia in the ESCT 36 second chances contest with his song ‘Better Days’. He hasn’t given up on his dream to represent
Helen has been making music in Estonia since 2011 but has recently made a comeback. She wants to revolutionise the Estonian pop scene and exclusively performs in Estonian. This is her first attempt at representing Estonia in ESCT.
‘Other side of light’ is the first time ELUIIL has tried to represent Estonia in ESCT. The song is a run through the chaos of spiralling negative thoughts, leading up to knowing that there is only one way to move on - towards the light. The song is about conquering depression and making it through the other side
NOËP, who’s real name is Andres Kõpper is an electronic-pop act recently signed to Sony Music Sweden. Since releasing his debut track ‘Move’ in 2015, NOËP has caught the attention of music lovers and industry professionals alike, and with the track amassing over 5.5 million plays on Spotify, the young producer is creating a buzz in both Estonia and on an international scale. Surprisingly this is his first time trying to represent Estonia in ESCT and he does so with his song ‘Young Boy’.
Joosep Cobra Järvesaar better known as his stage name Jozels is a DJ from Tallinn. His music makes a statement and he likes to tread the fine line between madness and sanity. This is evident in his song ‘Milka’ which is about descending into madness. He is joined on stage by the singer Naomi Hääl.
Andreas Poom is the youngest contestant to ever try and represent Estonia in ESCT at only 16 years old. He has been publishing music and lyrics since he was 12 years old and has performed on Estonian TV before even leaving High School. This is the second time he has tried to represent Estonia having come 3rd in the ESCT 37 NF with the DJ act Pur Mudd with their song ‘Get Away’.
Kati Laev was born on the island of Saaremaa which is the biggest island in Estonia. She’s lived most of her life on this beautiful island. For Kati, Music is therapy for her and she’s happy to have this beautiful hobby in her life. This is the first time she has tried representing Estonia in ESCT. She is aiming to ‘Wake up’ this national final and seize the opportunity to represent Estonia in ESCT.
First Priority is a Melodic rock / metal band from Tallinn. First priority combine elements of symphony, electronic, rock and metal with strong female vocals. This is the first time they have tried to represent Estonia in ESCT and they are hoping that it will be first time lucky for them.
