I truly hated this, but I’m sure the others will be a bigger fan of it. Like are they bringing in child vocals here? Is it grown woman sounding annoying? I can’t tell. Krystal- Oh, this is a… quiet start certainly. And I feel like in this one song, it just doesn’t really hit for me vocally as much as I’d like. This song almost feels a bit… art project-y to me? Like it drags on, but I feel bad for not really liking it, because it’s quite pretty. When it picks up, it does improve a good deal, but I’m… really feeling like I’m escaping into the distance of my brain and she can’t reach me. Sorry, girl. Deme- Creep! A cover. Of Creep. Um. 😶. I mean.. this is fine? It just feels like a really... toned down version of the vibes the song is supposed to be giving. Where are the actual creepy vibes? Where is the fun instrumental? This just feels kinda... soulless... in comparison... maybe the other judges will like this more...? *7/9*

Jaxon- Oh what was the mxmtoon song we heard before, I can’t remember, but I think her vocals are honestly a lot better here than that other song. I will say, I’m bored with it being a cover of a major song I’ve heard time and time again. It’s a good song, but eh not a standout feature of the song. The cover was a good adaptation, she did it well though! She did have a new spin on the song which I enjoyed. *8/9*

Krystal- I have a favorite Creep cover that is not this one, so let’s see how it holds up in comparison. It’s maybe not to mxmtoon’s strength, from my knowledge of her music, but… she’s also not incapable of handling the ominous nature of this song. The song does that all by itself. I’ll hold all reservations until… here we are. I feel like she kinda gutted it of its darkness in some ways. To me at least. Maybe I’m a little witch for this? I just can’t reach her. I want to be freaked and uncomfortable. She sounds like she’s in a club staring into her cup and wondering about existence. Not in a scary way. The actual Creep by Radiohead is supposed to make you feel weirded out by him. *6/9*

It was nice, nothing I was blown away by, but not a weak song in this world. *6/9*

Krystal- I like some Kehlani stuff, and honestly this one’s pretty nice? Like… her voice is soft and sweet and it’s just… wait, where is the stalker part…? Uhh… I can’t… where is the stalker part…? Ummm… heyyyy… why send it here where is the stalker part this is uh uh uh uh… sorry about where this will go um it was good but this isn’t stalking to me. It doesn’t fit to me whatsoever. Jaxon- This song was super fun. I’m kinda back and forth on her vocals a bit… but I think it’s more positive than negative as a whole. The verses were a bit meh to me, but the chorus was done really well. Anything that was a bit harsh sounding was not it, but everything else was very much so it for me- I hope that makes sense. The song as a whole was honestly really fun and I liked it. *5/9*

Jaxon- This might be my favorite submission from this duo so far. I got slightly triggered, I hated the first 2 seconds of vocals and was scared it was gonna be Hayloft again. But then the monotonal vocals started, and paired with the really good beat this song had, it really worked for me. I really enjoyed this song, it was very complete and just was a strong submission IMO. *2/9*

A fun and strong choice, I can see why you chose this within the first 10 minutes. *3/9*

Krystal- I do appreciate the sort of vibes and energy of the video here, and I can hear them reflected in the instrumental of the song. I wasn’t vibing as much until the chorus hit, and then it caught me. This is really fun and makes me think of stuff like P!nk Funhouse era if she was more sanitized. And honestly even this sanitized version is pretty fucking good, like it’s bouncy and fun. *3/9*
