CHALLENGE #9: SILENT AUCTION
For today’s challenge, we’re headed to the Survivor Auction! Everyone will secure $500, as usual, but the actual bidding will function slightly differently this time around. There are eight items up for grabs and they are:
-Immunity Necklace, which you must give to another player
-Advantage in the next Immunity Challenge
-Hidden Item #1
-Hidden Item #2
-Extra Vote
-Hidden Item #3
-Extra Clue for Hidden Immunity Idol
-Hidden Item #4
However, you will be bidding on these items for the next 24 hours. Each of you has been randomly assigned a number, which will be messaged to you in your prod chat. In your prod chat, you may bid on any amount of items, as long as your total bidding amount is under $500.
When you bid, it will be public knowledge, but no one will know specifically that you bid because all bids will be listed underneath your number.
Example:
#1 DMs that they’d like to put $30 on ____ item.
I’d post “#1 has bid $30 on the _____ item.”
#2 would like to bid $40 on _____ item.
I’d then post “#2 has bid $40 on ______ item, taking over the high bid.”
When time expires, whoever has the highest bid on each item will receive it, with each item having their owner revealed.
NOTES:
-NO SHARING NUMBERS! If this is found to have occurred, you will be ineligible to have immunity, unable to win any items, and receive an automatic penalty vote at Tribal Council.
-Yes, there may be times where there will be a lag in posts. When this occurs, the prod member who sees the message will update the list as soon as possible. PLEASE DO NOT SPAM US REPEATEDLY WITH YOUR BIDS, THEY WILL BE POSTED AS SOON AS WE CAN!
-If someone outbids you, you do get that money back, but if you have the high bid on that money, consider that money gone as a down payment, and you can’t bid with it.
-You must outbid someone, you cannot post the same amount as someone else, unless it’s the max amount. If bids tie at $500, there will be a rock draw for it.
