I once had dreams of becoming a beautiful woman, but I saw those dreams dashed and divided like a million stars in the night sky, and I ended up becoming an internet drag queen.  Some people say I'm a cutthroat bitch...some people are right.  I will do anything for the WIN on my spreadsheet.  My father wanted to sell me as a lean cut of pork at the local delicatessen, but I disappointed him when he found out I had E. I've taken inspiration for my piece of art from the land of the rising sun. Drag, in ancient Japan, is actually a celebrated tradition in the form of Kabuki theatre where it is commonplace for men to dress up as women for certain roles. I have taken this old concept and fused it with the modern Japanese phrase Okama (meaning shemale) by scrawling it across the painting in Japanese characters.

Afta alawng niteuhcontemplatin, I have come to realize that hooking is not always the right thing to... *Alawng begins to cry on the main stage, sad music is heard in the background* I'm sorry... *sniffles* I just... I just didn't know there were other ways of making money out there. I thought hookin' was the only way because my momma did it to make a living, and her momma did too. We were poor Ukrainian immigrants. But I have vowed to change that, and I have done that... Through art. I have made a tomato the focus of this piece, because a tomato fully represents my journey here. A lot of people don't like tomatoes, just as a lot of people have not understood my looks... But at the end of the day, a tomato just wants to be eaten out before it rots. I'll still be hookin', but only with the right people who will love me for who I am... A tomato. *smiles*

My portrait is called "black hole"

My portrait explains being in a black hole where you are surrounded by negativity and you are at a place where you can no longer in a place of stability . The light at the end of the tunnel is explained by the yellow rays that describes hope and gives optimism that things can get better. I have been in a place of depression and it's not a good feeling. The negative words describe what I used go through , with being bullied by peers. The light at the end of the tunnel does exist and you Things can get better
