Satawal tribe, welcome to tribal council!

Behind each of you is a torch. Go ahead and grab a torch, approach the flame, dip it in and get fire. As you all know, this is part of the ritual of tribal council. Fire represents your life in this game. When your fire is gone, so are you.

-How does the Trifecta change the game?

It makes the game a little bit more individual, even during the premerge -- you're trying to win challenges as an individual even as you're doing it on behalf of your tribe as well.

-How does it feel knowing two people will go home after the first challenge?

With only 16 people playing, it definitely feels like we're off to a fast start -- definitely no time to waste.

-Are alliances already forming?

Maybe not alliances for the first vote, but people will definitely form relationships and start to scope out who they trust moving forward.

I feel as though the Trifecta forces us all to think a bit more strategically - you want to keep strong people for your tribe, but you also want your odds of being *in* the trifecta to increase. It very early on dictates if you are playing an individual game, or a tribe game.

I think it sucks - being the first boot is not indicative of poor gameplay or even really being a threat, but bad luck due to not being online during the first challenge. Many people didn't participate, but only one person can go. My vote tonight will not be personal.

I think the term "alliance" is a red flag for a lot of players, but I do think bonds are forming that will eventually turn into alliances.

I'm not really sure yet, there's a lot to consider. You have to think about your individual game earlier on while trying to balance a strong tribe.

-How does it feel knowing two people will go home after the first challenge?

It's crazy that in a small cast to begin with, we're losing two people this early.

-Are alliances already forming?

I wouldn't be shocked if people are trying to figure out who they want to work with moving forward
